Building a Championship Defense my butt< You need Offense with Bush

playerhater

Practice Squad
They sign Williams because back in 2002 they picked David Carr (who turn out to be not what they) over Julius Peppers who turned out to be pro bowler.

I know that Mario Williams will be like Demarcus Ware or Shawn Merriam who were in last year draft.

Nothing is going to change. So basically the offense will be the same except they have Eric Moulds.
I'm having the worse day in my life. I feel sick to my stomach.

You're basically passing up a guy that rushes 10 yards per carry and opposing team coaches cringe whenever Bush touches the ball during college.

How could you pass up a Hall of Famer.

Arguement for signing M. Williams: to stop Peyton Manning and the Colts in their division. Better than Julius Peppers, great DE are very rare.

You can't beat the Colts if you can't score.

Reggie Bush sells tickets who is a thread everytime he touches the ball. David Stein said that don't be surprise if the Texans be a championship in two years yesterday assuming that Texans would pick Bush. Bush takes the attention off of David Carr who is afraid to throw the long ball because it might get intercepted. Carr only throws short passes to Dominack Davis who is a slow RB/PR. If that was Bush he would've score touchdowns. He is a player that comes in once every 10 or 20 years.

Bush is innovatice aka The Cut Back King

Gale Sayers, Barry Sanders, and to be Bush.

I agree what Micheal Irvin said.

like another thread I'm also not a fan anymore. :( I was looking forward for next season saying that Bush would be taken.

Lots of pressure will be on David Carr next season. He was the same player the last 4 years, and now without Bush, Carr could turn out to be a bust.

We couldn't had the best offense in the NFL if will had Bush.

WR Moulds, Johnson, KR/WR Mathis, Carr, and Bush could've been an all star lineup

We don't need Bush. We already have good RB's. Furthermore, we don't even need Vince either. We again have a decent lineup there.

Why on earth would you want to put people into positions that don't need improvements and ignore the positions that do? The defense needs A LOT of work. Also the front offensive line dose too whether it be new personnel or a change in methods of how they run that line. Perhaps the people are fine but the procedure as to which they are to execute it is ineffective.

I find it a laughing matter that most people (maybe you, I dunno) feel like one person will change the whole game. Well, let me tell you this......AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!:pigfly:

It takes 11 people out there working together to get it done. Any player out there that feels otherwise are going to have losing seasons.

there are alot of teams that have won championships without Reggie Bush. A lot, a whole lot....... the University of Texas comes to mind.

I think we'll be OK.

then we're good, because the Colts don't have Reggie Bush either...... it'll be a defensive struggle, and since we've got Super Mario, we're going to win.

It's not about taking a running back, it is about taking a player that will create match-up problems. If you were to slide DD out to the slot, you think defences would have to dramaticly change their coverage? What if you slide RB out there? RB will open up possibilities for other players even if he doesn't touch the ball, especially with Moulds, Johnson, Putzier, and even Davis all on the field.

Bush would have been a waste. The Texans already have a good RB who would be better with a better OL. Bush was a college player who had one good year who played behind a great OL who ran the ball just 20 times a game. He'd have limited touches with the Texans. It would have been absolutely stupid to waste a top pick for a guy who would have limited touches like he would get. As far as Bush goes, there's just as good a chance that he would have been another Blair Thomas, Curtis Enis, Lawrence Phillips or Archie Griffin. Besides, the Texans didn't need him. And you just watch -- there may be other teams who pass on Bush as well tomorrow. So you'll have to be mad at them as well.
