Brooks

More then likley the New Orleans Saints and Brooks are going to part company after this troubled season. The Saints are liley to draft Leinart because the teams worse then them (SF, GB, us) are not looking for QB's first round. I dont know about Brooks' contract status, but if he becomes a free agent and is cheap enough, I was wondering about the possibility of him coming here to compete with Carr. Obviously he is not the first choice when contemplating the people Carr could learn from, but there seems to be very few other veteran Qb's out there, unless we go for Collins? I think Brooks has undoubted talent, much like DC, just never fully used it.

By the price being right I mean less then $2M on a 1-year deal... a bit of a reach i know, but im bored

No stay away from Brooks and Collins. Both are extremely sloppy and are turnovers waiting to happen.

I do not want to even fathom the thought of Aaron Brooks in a Texan's uniform. Gives me dry heaves...:embarrass

I agree, Brooks and Collins would be extra additions to the list bad of offseason moves. Collins is on his way out and Brooks is a walking turnover and both will likely be looking for a larger contract than they are worth.

That would be a disaster:goodnight , david carr is better than him, at least he doesnt throw as much picks as brooks does, he can potentially run better than brooks, That wouldnt be an upgrade, that would be like the Buchanon move:thumbdown Jack*** move if you ask me

this was meant as bringing in a veteran to help carr. warner threw a lot of picks and was washed up when the giants brought him in, there is no telling how much he helped eli's development

How about getting a freaking line first.
Wow, how about not having a Bush/Texans avatart while criticizing others for not making plans for o-lines!!! For your information, there is pratically nothing available in terms of starting O-line talent in free agency this year, if we do improve, its gonna be through the draft

Yeah don't you remember. We only get one draft pick. We have to choose between an OL or Reggie Bush. :sarcasm:
