Okoye measured in at 6-foot-5 3/8 and 304 pounds, and he ran his two 40-yard dashes in 4.88 and 4.78 seconds. That kind of size and speed combination is highly unusual: At the Indianapolis Scouting Combine, only five defensive linemen ran faster than Okoye, and none of those five weighed more than 277 pounds.

Also an accomplished rugby player, Okoye recently said five NFL teams have shown interest in him. After Sunday's impressive performance, that number figures to rise.

Dang. If we hit on our picks I wouldn't mind using a 7th on him, because let's face it... at 7th you're picking for ST, depth, or a project.

Normally I'd tell a non contact athlete like this to .... go do what you do .... but the fact he's a rugby player (man those bastards are tough) ..... I might give him a looksee late.

No football, no pick for me. UDFA.

It's a skill sport, not just something you pick up.

And the thing is... you're average 7th rounder wont make the Texans. Hell, our 6th last year did not make the team. You grab the guy, see what he looks like in camp. If he looks like he can play with a year or two of coaching, great. If not, all you lost was a 7th. You literally cant lose here.

And you always have the option of placing him on the PS .... its a no lose proposition IMO.
