Rules: 24 hours of glory before the next opponent.

Browns talk starts at 3:15pm Monday.

They are already broken down..lol .. After Chris Palmer left there in 2000, and Butch Davis' dictatorship took over, it has been disheartening for their fans.
All the Browns need about now is a new general manager, a new coach, a new direction, and some stability. That's all...
BUT not respecting a team/any team that you are about to play will come back to bite you .. like the Jaguars were reminded today.
We need to put everything into that game next week!

I agree with axman... don't get me wrong I love bashing the Jags but 8-8 if we can do that it would be a huge step for this franchise.

yeah .. 7 to 7 in the third .. :hmmm:
Is it me...or is this games one of the sloppiest games you have seen this year? And the clanging noise from the fieldgoal upright hit was hilarious!

Was funny.
You know, anyone can kick the ball between the bars .. takes real talent to smack that skinny pole!! ..

Let's see: 4 W's in 1st year; 5 W's in second; 8 W's in third. Wow. What a nice, slow, steady improvement. Go Texans. Beat the Browns. I can't wait. Last game of the season! What are we gonna do??? :hairpull:

This will be the first game I've gone to this season so I hope they don't have a downer.

Lets start 2005 off right!!

Morris and Minor ran well on the Dawgs, which means if there is any semblance of run blocking from the Texans, DD should ravage these guys. Browns do have some scary fast WR's and Suggs is no slug ... be thankful Garcia and Holcomb are down. This shouldnt be a game, but lets see how hungry the Texans are next weekend after this big win.

I think the Browns would have been much better with KW2 and Garcia availible. Of course, maybe the Texans win a couple more with a healthy Joppru.

if the Texans beat the Browns and Jags lose are'nt the Texans still in the play-off hunt?

after that there is the 2005 draft (party) and free agency :heh:

no...the Jets have 10 wins and the broncos have 9. The best we can do is 8.

Bills and Broncs both won this weekend. If they hadn't the Texans would have had a long shot at playoffs (Assuming Week 17 losses by J-ville, Buffalo, Denver and Baltimore). As it is, the Jets have 10 wins and Buffalo/Denver have 9. We're gonna finish with 8 after we win against the Browns.

15 more minutes to give the love to Jax... then we turn towards our last home game of 2004 vs. the Browns. (That place is gonna be a LOUD love fest to welcome the TEXANS back home.)

I briefly stopped by the Browns board on the official website. Poor presentation in terms of graphics, it will make your eyes hurt. eek:

Ok...texans and browns....I'LL BE AT THE GAME!!! :jumpbanan (along with the Jazz/Rockets that night)...so I think it'll be a DAMN good day.

Go Texans!

Well i hope the Texans don't make the same mistake the Jags made, and thats taking the other team for granted....Look what happened to the Phins and Pats??? I just want this last game to be a fun one to watch without injuries....

Yeah its pretty sad there...I tried to motivate them alittle but they are pretty down on their team....who can blame them....But they seem like nice fans...

cant blame them for beign down, i'd be down too if that was happening to our team ! Love to smack talk but i dont see no smack talking going on this week ! Poor Fans !

Yeah some steeler fans were there really dogging on them...How classless can you be knowing your 14-1 and your dogging a team at the bottom of the league...SOOO SAD.....

some teams fans have no class. Thats like picking on a handicap person YOU JUST DONT DO IT !!!! Hopefully things will get better for the browns next season !

You know guys...I love a team coming in here being 3-11 and all...and expecting a win. But I keep thinking back to the Texans/Cincinatti game in 02', when they hadn't even won a game...and came into our house and slapped us around.

well lucky for us this isnt 2002, and come on 84 dont think like that. If we do lose it will over take the CIN game as the most embarrasing ! :shocked

Thats why I think you guys will win it! Because it's happend before, I don't think they'll let it happen again!

I think this week we need to be like Tiger Woods."The course looks good, my swing feeels good. I like my chances."
:dancing:

As for the Steelers-Browns jawing at each other ...tradition.
birds gonna fly, fish gonna swim.. Steelers/Browns will continue to show their love for each other.. :D .. that is a fact of life . Nothing ever changes that, even when one is 16-0 and the other goes 0-16.

As for the sense of humor, they've trained under the best .. Bob Hope, and a couple other areas guys .. Tim Conway and Drew Carey.
For some reason .:hmmm: you learn to fine tune your inner comic self living up there...

I really like the Texans, but as fate would have it, IF the Browns win (I don't see how they can after watching them Monday night) and the Titans lose to Detroit (which is very possible), the Titans might actually have #2 draft pick.

:hmmm:

I can't believe you guys are feeling sorry for Brown's fans! You must not have been around during the old Oiler days. Right now they are in hiatus because their team sucks, BUT, I can guarantee you, when they start winning we will entertain some of the rudest, most obnoxious fans in the NFL.

Remember the DAWGPOUND??!! :thumbdown

Saw the Browns play the Seahawks last year in Seattle (Seattle won 34-7).

This team has a long way to go before they can be considered competitive!

With their QB problems, they'll have no choice but to run the ball.

One concern about this game is that the Browns have a pretty good defense. Their front line can put some pressure on the QB. I'll breathe easier if we can get the same blocking from our O-Line that we saw last week.

Man...my worries came true.
