I don't think a base nickel was the way to go, but today's game does not make me long for Vic Fangio.

It doesn't matter who you're playing... if in 2 games you give up over 1,000 yards and get zero sacks, you are terrible. Their performance is inexcusable.

What were you expecting this year? That we just magically become a playoff team after being the worst team in the league last year? You don't just become awesome overnight. We had 2 sacks today. Way to go.

Terrible yes... inexcusable..no.

New defense.. new players.. new coach.. and they were the second worst defense in the league last season. Id have loved to see them come out and rank in the top 10.. but that was wishful thinking.

Thier performance has been bad.. but excusable considering the circumstances. We need more time.

I don't care if it's the friggin' Justice League with Superman at quarterback, if you give up 500 yards in offense you are terrible, terrible defense. Quit making excuses for these guys. They've shown no heart in two games.

I guess the Giants have a pretty bad defense too. Yes we are playing terrible. Most of us agree we are playing terrible. I don't what you expected from starting a thread like this.

The Giants defense gave up 200 less yards. That's a very big difference.

The Giants today gave up 457 total yards today vs. the Eagles
We gave up 444 total yards vs. the Eagles last week.

i highly recommend anybody who's feeling really down bout the texans to watch the Giants/ Eagles game...i watched it live and it was exactly like against the texans-....eagles O-line and mcnabb dominated...eagles d-line dominated (8 sacks)...how they lost is beyond me-they turned the ball over some..had some bad luck and let up a bit in the 4th imo...but they're going to miami if they stay healthy
