Ok Ladies and gentlemen. Here it is. No need to watch the draft for the next three days. Here is all you need to know for our beloved Texans.
In a shocker, with the 20th pick of the first round, the Texans pick...
1) Kareem Jackson CB 'Bama. - Don't get mad at me they picked him...not me. I like Jackson. I think he will be a solid starter for several years. Wilson, Thomas, Iupati, Spiller, Haden and Mathews were off the board.
2 Lamar Houston DT Texas - Best 3 Technique dt in draft after Mccoy. He fits perfect for what we need in a DT. He was the best defender on the field for UT last year, including Thomas and Kindle.
3) Jonathon Dwyer RB GT - Everyone gets twisted over the most stupid stuff. "He is a RB in an option offense. He can't run the football in the NFL". Yet, his WR is projected to be a 1st rd pick, the same WR who is hurt...and was in an option offense??????
4) Donovan Warren CB Michigan - This guy was talked about being in the first round last December. I was shocked he was here. Did not like him in the 1st... Love him in the 4th.
5) Zane Beadles OG Utah He will play Guard for us and I think he can maul some people and still play this ZBS(crap).
6) Shelly Smith OG/C Col St This one is destiny.
6) Mike Kafka QB Northwestern I don't like Drafting QBs...but we will.
7) Keenan Clayton LB OU Has some skills. Skills are good.
