Bijan Robinson with our 1st pick? (Read full post)

Robinson should be a stud. And if we have a shot...would you take him?

Personality, only if the rest of the team is set. If we see bad DL play, bad WR play, bad LB play, bad DB play, bad OL play or bad QB play...I would fix that before taking a RB. However, with 2 1st round picks and the talent he has, I might use that 1st pick on him and the rest to fix needs. What are your thoughts?

#1 Travon Walker contract was $37 million fully GTD for high injury risk position. Prob 40 for our top round one....
 
I'd hate the Texans to be the next team to take a RB in the 1st round, let alone the top of the 1st round.

I'd hate for the Texans to be the next team to take a player from Texas after their goose egg in 2022 draft.
 
If he's your highest rated player you pick him. At this early date I've got him ranked top 5-6. You don't pass on special talent.

It's too early. I do think there are RBs that can bring value in the 1st round. But, they need to be able to play on all 3 downs. Or just special in a particular way, like a Derrick Henry. I would have used a 1st on Breece Hall at some point this past draft as he is a 3 down back. Stiil, we don't know where the Texans are drafting and who will be available. Too early.

That's about what I feel. However, after watching some film of him...depending on Mack I think it could be an interesting option. Based on the fact this kid is great (currently) baring injury or unforseen situation. In the 20's I would have to consider him. Earlier...depends on what I said earlier. Have the other positions played well enough to use say the 10th pick... We shall see but again too early
 
Texans have two firsts. If they spent a high first on Stingley, it wouldn’t be anymore of a reach to select elite RB talent like Bijan Robinson. This would greatly benefit Mills and build a much stronger run game, which Lovie and Warhop prefer, to control line of scrimmage, bludgeoning opponents and eating dominant chunk of clock.

Pretty much my thinking. Kid so far is worth a high 1st to anyone who is not working with an elite RB. Because he should be one.

Love Bijan and wouldn't have a problem with picking him. But give me Charbonnet or Milton in the 3rd.

Give me Mayer and the best pass rusher or CB available in the 1st.
