Yes, Bush is a phenomenal caliber player, the likes of which wont come along again for awhile.
But, if you look at it without all the emotion due to the recency of the announcement, you can't honestly say Mario isn't a player with great potential himself.
Look, I'm a fan of one team until I die, the Houston Texans, and while I am at the moment looking at the whole situation with dissapointment and bewilderment that we would pass on a guy like Bush, I'm gonna try to leave some of it left to be decided on the field.
Who knows, maybe one day we look back at this draft and we want to commit collective suicide. Maybe one day we look back and are honestly convinced it was the best move. Or maybe this will never even turn out to be the "make or break your franchise" draft decision it is being made out to be.
Who knows, I don't.
But I do think there's a good chance Mario wins us over as a fanbase with his play, and If not, so be it.
I will still be watching each and every game, each and every down, because thats what I do, I'm a Texans fan, and the rest is just details.
p.s. - Being a Texans fan does not make me a Texans GM fan. I think Casserly getting the boot has been, and is now emphatically placed at the very top of our freshly revamped To-Do List.
