I think your list is very good. I would move Calais Campbell into the top 20 however just too much talent to slide down that far, IMO :shades:

ya wouldnt mind picken him up if he slilps.... and we aquired a 2nd pick. i like th idea of another DE.... would be SICK for them all to grow together

Campbell's talented is being overrated by two things. one, he had tons of hype and two, he played for Miami and the top players at Miami will always get overrated (see Merriweather last year).

you should know Kast, Miami has been a black hole awhile now but that doesnt mean a talent is either over hyped or under hyped. Campbell has elite size, explosion, hand speed just needs motivated. throw some of the blame his way, but that had to factor in his decision to come out early & was told by the advisory committe he would be at least a 1st rd. pick.

I'm curious to know what you guys think about Quentin Groves.

He had 11 TFLs & 8 sacks in 05.

13 TFLs & 10 sacks in 06.

But only 9 TFLs & 3 sacks this year.

If he can drop in coverge...he has proto typical 3-4 OLB speed and size. Be a good pick for the polks at the bottom of the first. 35 TT has to be a red flag. What does the tape say ? No doubt he has pass rushing skills...what about the rest of his game ? Is he having trouble getting rid of blockers? Why can't he run with the RBs and TE with his speed ? TTs & PDs are very low for someone of his reputation. What is it ? Why isn't he more productive ? The guy may be blessed with an all pro body and and cursed with an insect brain.

Campbell just needs motivated.

Wow, you really want a player that needs to be motivated? I want a guy that is self motivated to be the best. We already have a few guys that are not motivated to be the best on every play and it shows when they turn the switch on and off. Don't think I need another 1st rounder like that.

Give me a team of overachievers.

the situation is & has not been the best for a while in Miami, professionally & with the Hurricanes. I'm just saying he is only human & can't help but be affected by his surroundings to some degree. when I watched him he looked like he was playing hard @ other times the whole team looked like it had given up & getting slapped around by inferior talent. Miami was definetly not a team this year of overachievers but hard to imagine all his fault, just a reason to get the heck out of there, nothing more nothing less. dont read into this that he is a quiter, or underachiever he just wants a better situation to prove himself & earn a buck.

Same was said of Mario that seems to have panned out ok.

And he was one of the guys I was talking about, Travis Johnson was the other. They need to explode every play, now I will give Mario some room, he plays almost every defensive play, and that does wear a player out, any player. And he get double and triple team on most plays. I know.

But that does not mean I can't still wish he had the ability to go full out every play like he did in the Denver game.
