For this mock I'm assuming we're a picking around the mid 20s
Round 1: Michael Floyd, WR Notre Dame
His got top 10 talent but due to a couple of off-field issues he falls.
Also doesn't have great physical athleticism so won't light up the combine.
Again another reason why he falls to us.
We can't possibly pass on this guy. We all know now how much we need a 2nd WR. Our red zone efficiency isn't great and he offers a huge body in there.
Great underneath as well so he can move the chains.
My favourite player in the draft guy is a beast and will end up being our number 1 once AJ retires.
Round 2: Josh Chapman, NT Alabama.
Does exactly want you want in a Nose. Great against the run and can take up a double team.
His an absolute beast in the weight room benching close to 580 pounds, according to the Alabama strength and conditioning staff and has a 630 pound squat. Has a good motor as well, so look for wade to stand up for this guy in the war room. Not quite best player available but is still a great pick and fills a need.
Round 3: Barrett Jones, OG Alabama
Great versatility, has played everywhere on the o-line for 'Bama. Possess good agility so should fit in well with our ZBS. Has been one of the leaders on a Bama offence that has seen great numbers in the ground game while his been there.
Needs to work on his pass-protection, but with our offence run-blocking comes first and his near godly at it. Will start straight away.
Round 4: Kendall Reyes, DE Connecticut.
This guy is a monster! coming in at 300 pounds will fit perfectly into the rotation on the D-line. Will play predominately at DE but if needed can play at NT as well. Has a good motor and never quits even in pursuit.
His been voted captain last 2 years and seems to have excellent leadership.
Round 5: D.J. Holt, ILB California
Originally wanted to go with Tanner Brock from TCU with this pick but his been sidelined for the year with a knee injury i think. So i went with a player at the same position who is of near equal value.
Tackle machine, should fit into wade's system and MLB perfectly. Give us depth at ILB which is needed because we only have 3 MLB at the moment seen as tim dobbins hasn't done a whole lot and is ageing.
Main strength is against the run which again fits nicely into our system.
Round 6: Blake Gideon, FS Texas.
Most of you guys should know him seen as he plays for the longhorns.
But from what i have seen (limited only get a few college games down under) and read he will not blow anybody away with his physical skills but has good instincts. Can play a little in the box as well so has that all-round ability that Wade wants.
Round 7:
Traded for Mason!

Thanks for reading, would love some comments especially from the regular mock posters.
