Attending the Draft

So I can go to the Draft on Saturday, I know it's not the first/second round, I'm just curious if anyone has ever been to the later rounds and if its worth my time. It wouldn't be a big deal but I'll have to miss a game that the Little League team that I coach is playing (I have two assistant coaches so me being gone is not a huge deal).

I'm leaning towards going, just to say I've been.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Unless you are a diehard draft guy, I would coach the game. I love the draft (yes, my interest has waned recently, but I still love it), so I have basic info on around 500 guys, which means I know whats going on, who is being picked, how good are they, potential impact, etc. If you dont, then you really have very little attachment to it. The Texans' pick will be cool because its your team, but the other 31 teams will (likely) be fairly unimportant and boring to you.

Just my two cents.

I'm going to see a jazz show right down the street from the Draft tonight, lol.

I'll probably walk by to check it all out beforehand.

I didn't pack any Texans gear, I wonder if I can find a good Texans shirt in NYC, lol

Go to the T-Ball game. The draft should still be going on when the T-ball game is over.
