This will sound like a pipe dream, but I've always wanted to work for the Texans. My background is in media/video production. And would love to put my energy and efforts into being part of the Texans organization. Anybody know anybody? If so send me a PM.

You graduated from Colorado State and played for Denver . You also have a Kyle Shanahan tat on your calf . You have also found the flaw in Carr's QB ability . That should get you in .

When asked in your interview how you will handle heated situations, make sure to say that you will reply with "It's on me!"

Don't let them know that you hang out with Texan Bill either. You don't want to get tagged as a "bad character guy."

On a serious note their website posts jobs and I still get updates on openings from them from time to time. I think you can even send in resumes through the site.

Also keep in mind that jobs in media and production for professional sports teams are low-paying because of their prestige. They're usually used as springboards for bigger and better things. I used to work for the Rockets, and outside of the executives, everyone there was under 25 and always looking for another job.

Anna-Megan used to work there with me for a while too, and look where she is now. Like I said, those jobs are used as a launching pad, not a career.

I heard the key is to get your foot in the door doing anything and then do it badly or below average and Bob will recognize you hurry. :)

It's a pretty easy and straightforward process. I applied last year for an internship that opened up in their scouting department (which I believe Brian Schottenheimer ended up getting, go figure).

Looks like they a) should have hired me instead, or b) it's a good thing they didn't because I'd never get a better job in the NFL.

From what I understand, Gary has replaced Rick Smith as general manager. I am sure he can work something out with you, if you can get in touch with him, his mother, or his aunt.

I really wouldn't take a position with the Texans right now because when the lockout happens.....poof!

After the lockout will be the best time:goodluck:

Ted's right, wait until after lockout.

And when you do apply, definitely make sure you play up your years spent with the Broncos, your college years at Colorado State, how much you admire mediocrity and hope to some day acheive it, and if you really aren't a Texans fan, proclaim your allegiance to whomever (I'm Packer green and yellow, but I'd love to work for the Texans!).... That part seems to have worked for Rick Dennison
