In my opinion our biggest need is to improve the LB corp and get a versitile LB in the Bruschi mold and Pollack seems to be that guy. He is agile and does well in coverage and rushing the passer.
Jones is just too much of a potential star to pass up on in the second round, especially if he can return kicks.
We have too uch money in our DL right now to warrant a high draft pick but picking up potential replacements for Payne and Walker seem like a good idea.
I still want to wait and see what Wand can do before we spend a high draft pick on a OT.
Houston:
RD 1. David Pollack DE/OLB
-move him to outside this year and next year after Wong leaves move him inside.
RD 2. Matt Jones WR
-another big playmaker for Carr and Johnson (imagine them lining up on opposite sides, AJ is 6-3 and Jones is 6-6 and both can outmuscle the small corners and have blazing speed to beat the big ones)
RD 3. Ronald Bartell CB
-good size/speed ratio and has shown ability to shut down receivers at a lower level
RD 3. Darrell Shropshire NT
-big NT that can handle the double team. Played at McNairs S. Carolina with Dunta
RD 4. Sione Pouha DT
-another big DL that will help open things up for our linebackers
RD 5. Adam Kieft OT
-Another project Tackle for us to groom, wouldnt be a Texans draft without one.
RD 6. Nehemiah Broughton RB
-big powerful runner to compliment DD
RD 7. Rob Hunt C
-project C that shows promise in a zone scheme with his agility
