Another 'neutral site' problem?

Does anyone on here live in or near Miami?

Fowler said the stands were 70-75% Gator fans. I am wondering if Dolphin Stadium had the same deal that other NFL stadiums had - that NFL season ticket holders get a shot at the NCAA championship game tickets (and thus the schools divide up what's left AFTER corporate tickets, stadium PSL holder sales, etc.)?

If so, another year of giving an SEC team home field advantage (not that Miami/Gainesvill is as bad as New Orleans/Baton Rogue, but they're a lot closer than Miami/Norman!).

The Rose Bowl was about 70% USC and the Sugar Bowl looked about 55-60% Alabama.

The only game that appeared to my eye to draw a split was the Fiesta Bowl.

The bowls give equal amounts of tickets to each school. But if they are gonna give tickets to local people too, then the school that's farther away should get more tickets for their fans.

75% is not a neutral field.

Pshah, almighty dollar >>>>> fairness ;-)

Fiesta Bowl was a split because neigther team's fan base cared. Texas was ticked they weren't in Miami, OSU fans were burned out from traveling to the last two Title Games.

Travel agents in Austin and Columbus reported REALLY low sales numbers for the game. I received more e-mails then I could count of Houston alumns selling their tickets.

And even if the Cardinals have a deal like the Saints and Texans do, apparently people in AZ don't really care about UT or OSU, lol.
