KFFL Mock Draft
http://forums.kffl.com/threads/295630-Round-7-Selection-Thread
I have done this Mock draft for 8 or 9 years. It is my only mock draft of any type.
Basics
Only two trades allowed per team (current year picks only) 6 hours time limit for picks.
I used National Football Post as my draft board. The ranking as of the time I drafted the player.

1.26 Stephen Hill WR Georgia Tech (NFP 28) - He has well if not over discussed on texanstalk.com, so no real need to elaborate. As I look at it closer, not sure that barring an unexpected run on the position that going somewhere in the 1st and going to WR in the 2nd or with the now early 3rd would not make sense.
2.58 Alameda Taamu NT Washington (NFP 22)- This was the perfect match of need (long-term NT) and BPA. I have not been as crazy for the BIG NT as some Texans fans, but one was here. Considered OLBs.
3.76 Bruce Irvin OLB West Virginia (NFP 54) this is one of the OLBs considered for the previous pick, so I was very happy for Irvin to fall here. Seems to have high motor, but limited overall pass rushing skills. There is some developmental there but has speed and can pin his ears back and go.
4. 99 Devon Wiley WR Fresno State (NFP 53) My belief is that while the Texans like bigger WRs, they actually need a short area quickness guy for the passing game. He also has dynamic straightline speed. On the board, I was using he rated a 2nd rounder and as such would be a steal in the 4th, although I am aware that Wiley is not generally rated as high overall.
4.121 Emmanuel Ache ILB Texas (NFP 109) Pick was made about one day before James signed. Might have went with Texanstalk favorite Billy Winn here if that news were known.
5.161 Matt McCants OT Alabama-Birmingham (NFP 88) Developmental player who may be able to become a starter somewhere in the future.
6. 199 Dominique Hamilton DE Missouri (NFP 125) Large player who looks to be a more tradition 3-4 De than currently playing on the Texans.
7. 233 Randy bullock K Texas A & M (NFP Kicker 1) Texans need one cheap and long term option.
Free Agent signings
