James Casey. Superman athlete from U of H. Got cut in the O'Brien rebuild. He then got a 15 mil contract from Philly.

Remember fan favorite Bryan Braman? He earned himself two extra years in Houston by suicide-tackling a punt returner head first without his helmet. He was a demon on special teams and blocked three punts. I remember an interview he did with the Chronicle where he revealed his hillbilly roots. He was explaining his missing teeth and says "My family they ain't got no tooth." Wow.

There were a lot of guys from the later Rick Smith drafts that you rooted for but got washed out. Like Devier Posey and Keshawn Martin. Then you get to the 2013 draft and you don't even care, like Swearinger, Brennan Williams, Sam Montgomery, Trevardo Williams. Like WTH Rick?

Speaking of TEs. What about spending 3rd round picks to draft C.J. Fiedorowicz and Kahale Warring to mimic the Patriots success with TEs?

To this day, Aaron Hernandez has more murders than Warring has games started.
Warring was a great athlete, too bad it didn't translate to the football field. Fiedo was unfortunate because most of his concussions were related to bad QB play.

Amobi Okoye. Drafted 10th overall in '07. Did pretty good at first, but couldn't sustain it.
Sucked and to think RS passed on 2 HOF'ers (Revis/Willis) to draft an 18 yr old. SMH, I'm just glad that RS incompetence no longer exists down on Kirby.

Keshawn Martin was another one for me well i was gonna make a post about him but thought nobody would remember him I'm very happy that im not the only one that remembers him

Domanick Williams (Davis); He was named 2003 OROY and was on his way to a third straight 1,000+ yd season before suffering a devastating knee injury.

I still remember when Davis first started to get play time, he ran like a billiard ball with a rocket attached: spin, cut, cut again, and always finding every bit of field that was ahead of him.

He also had one of the funniest plays I've ever seen: he had an outside run where he spun back up after being tackled (it was pretty clear that he was already down) and kept running into the endzone. The opposing coach (I think it was Detroit, but could be wrong) 'broke the rules' by throwing his red challenge flag during the last two minutes of the half (ref-only challenge period) and the result was that play could no longer be changed. So it was a free, completely undeserved TD for the Texans.

I believe you're thinking about a RB named Justin Forsett. He played one season for the Texans (2012) and had that 81 yard run on Thanksgiving vs the Lions that was clearly down by contact. The Texans beat the Lions in OT, 34-31.

Aah, your right. I got them mixed up.

Trindon Holliday. He was fun to watch, if you could actually spot him. But given his size, wasn’t expecting a whole lot.

Jacoby Jones, however…. From an underdog perspective, I wish he could have exceeded the hope I had for his career.
