3rd down conversions!!

Just like the last three preseason games specially the Pittsburgh game, 3rd down conversions are a big problem. We can't ask the CB's and Safeties to keep up with the WR's all day long. If we don't have pressure up front, any QB with half azz WR and TE will burn you all day long. The Chargers converted 9 of 15 3rd downs. No team will ever win keeping there Defense on the field this long.

yes 3rd downs is really something or d needs to work on, but i believe or defense will get better and do a lot of good things for us this year. Its just some players have been out a whole year and need time to readjust to the game,,,we'll be fine and improve on 3rd downs ! I mean hey we cant be no worse than we were last season !!!!!

When it came to the front page vote, many voted for turnovers. Of course, that may hurt you many times, but I feel it was getting off the field on third down. The Texans for a while overcame some of the blunders and took back the lead. The Texans dominated the first half, and was wearing down the Bolts, but when the second half came, and our defense failed to get off the field, that was our demise. It was stated before, the secondary can only cover for so long, before receivers get open. The Bolts don't have any? I don't care if its' Oprah, Kathy Bates, and Rosanne, eventually they would get open with the time Drew Brees had to throw! Blitz, mix it up, do something, but you cannot fall back into a zone or prevent and allow an NFL QB to pick you apart. Brees may not be wanted or respected by the team he is with, but he is an NFL QB, and he should be respected as such! The Texans D got worn down in the second half to me, and that was our failure. Next week...........Blitz!!!
