3 Mock Drafts

Jeez these people are so stuck on us needing a left tackle that they think we are going to reach and go with Barron. Id rather stick with Wand over that guy, he is only going to get better.

I wouldnt mind Barron but I still think there is a better pick.

They have the Bucs and Minnesto passing up BMW! On one they have us passing him up which I don't think would happen if he was still there at 13.

Thats about the biggest BS..............I could make up better Mock Drafts than that. I wish CBS or ESPN or Fox would hire me and let me post my crazy ideas on the internet and get paid thousands.............

We know that

But I think the Pace deal may work in our favor since there are teams that need a OT like Barron that we can do business with on draft day.

It seems like a smoke and mirrors thing that the Pace Deal has given us.

Now here's a mock I like (allbeit very unlikely)...

LINK

1 San Francisco 49ers Aaron Rodgers QB California
2 Miami Dolphins Ronnie Brown OH Auburn
3 Cleveland Browns Alex Smith QB Utah
4 Chicago Bears Braylon Edwards WO Michigan
5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Carnell Williams OH Auburn
6 Tennessee Titans Mike Williams WO Southern Cal
7 Minnesota Vikings (from Oakland) Troy Williamson WO South Carolina
8 Arizona Cardinals Adam Jones DC West Virginia
9 Washington Redskins Mark Clayton WO Oklahoma
10 Detroit Lions Shawne Merriman DE/OB Maryland
11 Dallas Cowboys Alex Barron OT Florida State
12 San Diego Chargers (from NY Giants) Marcus Spears DE LSU
13 Houston Texans Derrick Johnson OB Texas
14 Carolina Panthers Cedric Benson OH Texas
15 Kansas City Chiefs Antrel Rolle DC Miami (Fla.)

I'm not sure Barron is even going to last until 13 though...This may be Floyd Reese using smoke and mirror tactics, but several sites have been reporting that he is in love with Barron and this OL class in general (which happens to be very thin at the OT positions)...Here's just a sample of things he has been saying:

Tennessee Titans general manager Floyd Reese typically has quite the good eye for spotting talent. During his press conference at the NFL Combine, Reese noted he feels this year's group of offensive lineman may be the best he has seen in the last 10-12 years. "This is an outstanding group," Reese stated. He also said the early indication of overall talent is "going to be great" based on what he saw.

Titans | May be Forced to Select OT Early in Draft - from www.KFFL.com
Sun, 27 Mar 2005 08:36:37 -0800

Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans have a sense of urgency when it comes to improving their offensive tackle position this year and they are likely going to be forced to pursue the position early in the NFL Draft. Team GM Floyd Reese said the team may have to use their sixth-overall selection on the position.

still Reese may make a deal with us if he feels that if we move up to 6th that Barron will fall 7 spots to 13. And if the titans take him at 6 thats beautiful, then that means that this could be the scenario

1 San Francisco 49ers Aaron Rodgers QB California
2 Miami Dolphins Ronnie Brown OH Auburn
3 Cleveland Browns Alex Smith QB Utah
4 Chicago Bears Braylon Edwards WO Michigan
5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Carnell Williams OH Auburn
6 Houston Texans Derrick Johnson OB Texas
7 Minnesota Vikings (from Oakland) Mike Williams WO Southern Cal
8 Arizona Cardinals Antrelle Rolle CB Miami
9 Washington Redskins Adam Jones CB
10 Detroit Lions Erasmus James DE Wisconsin
11 Dallas Cowboys Shawne Merriman DE Maryland
12 San Diego Chargers (from NY Giants) Marcus Spears DE LSU
13 Tennessee Titans Alex Barron OT Florida St.
14 Carolina Panthers Jamaal Brown OT Oklahoma
15 Kansas City Chiefs Troy Williamson WR - S. Carolina

And that would be even better

I like any mock that either has the Bucs wit BMW or the Texans wit DJ but I've only seen like one that has those two. If those 2 things happen then I can die happy.

Here is another one.....definitely different

That one is bad, but it is a little dated...They still have Oakland with the 7th pick...

Here's one I found that was TERRIBLE...They have us taking Jammal Brown, that's all I need to say...
