Jammal Brimmer saftey from out of UNLV. He is available in this draft, correct? I've had my eye on this guy for the past three years. I think he's flying under the radar a bit and could suprise in the NFL. What do you all think?

Brimmer is available in this draft, and I agree with you he'll be a nice pick up for whichever team drafts him. I tend to agree that he'll likely go in the 4th or 5th round, but he'll definately be an impact player. People often get too caught up in 40 times. It's an important tool in the evaluation process, but in no is it more important than game film. The better GMs will likely use both in evaluating a player, but if measurables are where you draw the line you'll likely end up passing up lots of good players. We've all heard of the failures of the "workout warriors", and likewise we've heard the players that were "too small/too slow/too weak of an arm/etc." turn out to be Pro Bowlers and gems at times (Zach Thomas, Brady, etc.) I've watched the guy play, and he is definately a playmaker. I feel he'll do well in the NFL regardless of his 40 time.

I really like Gerald Sensabaugh in the 4th round or maybe even the 3rd round. He could bring in depth at Saftey, because let's face it, outside of Jason Simmons, who are the backups.

He is good enough to potentially take over too for Marcus Coleman.

Ramon Walker, Jammal Lord, and David Young...Walker and Lord are promising, but I don't know too much about Young...I don't think Sensabaugh has the ball-hawking skills to take over for Coleman...If you want another young FS, you should hope for Marviel Underwood in the 5th...As for young late round SSs, I like James Butler or Jerome Carter...
