Just win baby!!!

...started with a bang. The then 1-4 San Diego Chargers smacked the then 4-1 Broncos in the mouth, & they didn't let up. The Chargers are now 2-4, the Broncos are 4-2... the AFCWest wraps up this weekend matching the 4-1 Raiders against 2-2 Chiefs in Oakland.

San Francisco at Buffalo
Just how good are the Bills? Like a bully they whupped a Bradyless Patriots squad & a hapless Rams team.

Can Kaepernick play?

JagUars at Bears
Indy beat the Bears last week. They beat the Jags the week before. This week, someone's got to win.

Rams vs Lions
LA is 3-2, Detroit is 2-3. LA plays good defense. Detroit plays good offense. Should be fun.

Pittsburgh at Miami
Quite frankly, Pittsburgh does a lot of things right, Miami doesn't.

Bengals @ Patriots
Tom Terrific is back. Bengals just got spanked. Will it be two in a row?

Panthers @ Saints
Cam is back.

Ravens vs Giants
The only reason I can think of to watch this game is for the car wreck that is OBJ. Perhaps he can learn a thing or two from Steve Smith Sr.

Browns @ Titans
Marcus Mariota looked like a stud last week. Expect that to continue.

Eagles @ Redskins
NFCEast is looking pretty competitive so far. the winner here could be tied for first place or maybe second.

Cowboys @ Packers
The rookie phenoms Dak & Zeke make every game they're in entertaining. Kinda like Rodgers & Lacey used to. Yeah, I said it.

Falcons @ Seahawks
Offense vs Defense... actually the Falcons defense ain't half bad, neither is Seattle's offense .

Jets @ Cardinals
Somebody's got to win damit maybe this will be the spark to get that team back on track.

San Diego Chargers smacked the then 4-1 Broncos in the mouth, & they didn't let up.
Chargers moved the ball well, settled for field goals though - was enough to win. Was a good game, and my eyes finally seemed back to normal this morning.

JagUars at Bears - Hoyer going to start I presume. I honestly didn't think he would even be in the league this year. Well, here's hoping he has a good game and kicks the Jags azz.

Panthers @ Saints - Panthers lose this one and they are done. Bad blood between the Saints and Panthers last year? Cam threw for 5 TDs, Saints defense got embarrassed by all the dancing. This one could be entertaining.

Browns @ Titans - go browns, yay!

Cowboys @ Packers - I have enjoyed watching the rookies play this year. Romo should retire.

Case Keenum started strong. He's thrown for a TD, ran for a TD, and is slinging the rock when he has time... there was a sack strip, but overall, looking like a dang good QB at the half.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski make it look so easy, so clutch. Almost an automatic Touchdown pass in a goal line formation. The Bengals defense knew the play was coming and still couldn't stop it.

Watching the Patriots play I often wonder why can't the Texans do that? We don't have an all-time great QB like Tom Brady, fair enough, but I'm talking about the play calling. Even when the Patriots played their 2nd and 3rd string QBs (a rookie I've never heard of), even when Gronkowski was also out of the game, they were still making some big plays.

And Bill O'Brien coached five seasons under Bill Belichick's coaching staff. He was also the Patriots offensive coordinator as recently as 2011. You would think he would have learned a lot.

Fisher's decision not to kick the FG at the half came back to bite him in the arse.

And the Rams dedense took a vacation.

Keenum needs to ask Robert Horry for his good luck charm.

:ahhaha:

Prescott is not going to look anywhere as good as with that previous cellar defenses he has played so far.
That kid is the real deal. I think the Dallas Cowboys are the best team in the NFC this year. Their running game is the best in the league.

They are about to be 5-1 with a big win at Lambeau Field. All the while Tony Romo and Dez Bryant will be 100 % and cleared to play pretty soon.

It's going to be fun seeing the Texans and Cowboys both in the playoffs this year. If we win the AFC South, at the very least, we will host another wild-card game at NRG Stadium.

I wish we could make it to Super Bowl 51 at NRG Stadium. I'm worried it's going to be the Dallas Cowboys versus New England Patriots playing for that Lombardi Trophy in our house! In that case I'll definitely cheer for the Cowboys to win their sixth Super Bowl to tie the Steelers. I can't stand the Pats.

Did we make a mistake not drafting that kid ourselves? He seems like a willing learner and a tremendous athlete. Bill O'Brien is struggling to teach Brock Osweiler his offensive system so far. They apparently "blew up" on each other a couple days ago. Which is normal to me but you see so many rookie QBs showing great progression so far. While Brock Osweiler has looked horrid so far this year.

When did the Dallas Cowboys defense become this good? I've been impressed with their effort so far today. I keep thinking it's a just a matter of time until they give up some big plays and fall apart, like in recent years, but they've been really good. Another reason why I think they are the best team in the NFC.

Dallas is just giving Green Bay all they can handle on the road!
In fact, the Packers look like the lesser team thus far in the game.

Oh wow! What a special pass by Dak Prescott!
17-6 Cowboys lead now. Just a beautiful accurate TD pass.

Dallas just went 97 yards in 5 plays. In 34 seconds for that TD just before halftime. LOL. Okay, I've got 5 Texans T-shirts and 2 Texans sweaters in my closet. I've got 1 Dallas Cowboys T-shirt. Should I put it on?

Go Texans! But, but! Man, the Cowboys are bringing me back again. I like the way they play the game on both sides of the ball. They are exciting to watch.

The rookie Dak Prescott is playing a better and smarter game than Aaron Rodgers, a former Super Bowl champion and league MVP just a couple years ago. Who many claim is the best quarterback in the game.

DaK Prescott is 12-for-18 with 166 passing yards with 2 TDs and 0 INTs. While Aaron Rodgers is 15-for-22 with 135 passing yards with 0 TDs and 0 INTs.

Rodgers had a couple nice passes just before halftime to pad the stats. He wasn't as good as the numbers show, because the Cowboys defense wanted them to stay in bounds to run out the clock. They let them have a couple big passes there.

17-6 Cowboys halftime lead.

We shall see what happens in the second half.

Dak Prescott, oh wow! I'm impressed as always.
Tony Romo isn't going to regain the starting job....

More like this. My goodness gracious! I'm starting to feel excited about the Dallas Cowboys again. Like I did when I was in junior high school. When they won three Super Bowls in four years.

I've been begging to watch some good football again.
I hope the Houston Texans play well tonight. We need it.
We'll be 4-2 and in a crappy division but I'll take it I guess.

But the Dallas Cowboys look like a legitimate Super Bowl contender to me. They will be 5-1 if they win today and Dez Bryant, their best offensive playmaker, is returning next game. Their running game is the best in the entire league. Their defense is full of high-energy guys that fly around to the football. And they have a sensational rookie quarterback. Tony Romo doesn't even have to see the field ever again. The Dallas Cowboys are in good hands at the quarterback position for the next decade.

Whelp, Rodgers just threw an Os INT. Stared down the receiver and forced it into multiple coverage,

Maybe we did some voodoo to switch their decision making abilities this week.

Edit: take it back, he did go through reads, just missed the defender

Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, a special backfield tandem that could be together for years and years. The Cowboys offensive line is also the best in the game. They aren't even fully healthy yet. The Cowboys could become something special if they put it all together. Not just this year but for many years to come.

I really hope that Brock Osweiler pans out for us. Otherwise I'm going to be wondering what if we had drafted Dak Prescott instead. A fourth-round selection. It's tough enough we once passed on Aaron Rodgers during his draft class.

But sigh, our fourth-round quarterbacks are Tom Savage.
And we pay the bank for Brock like he's Joe Montana or something.

Dak Prescott deserves to be paid the big bucks for his current production. He's making the bloated salaries of guys like Tony Romo and especially Brock Osweiler, look somewhat comical at the moment. With his fourth-round rookie salary and all. A mere fraction of what those so-called big money quarterbacks make.

If only quarterbacks in the NFL were paid what they actually produced on the field. This is a "what have you done for me lately" league.

So far, he does look good.

What is frustrating to me is that the Houston Texans have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. Our young offensive talent is some of the most explosive and exciting in the AFC. But we need that solid quarterback play to put it all together. It hurts that we lost J.J. Watt for the season but with a good quarterback there are no limitations to how good a team can become.

You look at the Dallas Cowboys and they are playing the way we should be playing. They are playing an exciting brand of football and they deserve to be 5-1 in another half an hour. They are kicking the Packers' ass. Even when the Packers threaten to score the Cowboys defense forces another turnover.

Maybe the Texans will be 4-2 after tonight.
All and all, I will take that. It's not bad at all.

We can be very much in the playoff mix at 4-2.

That Cowboy OL has been playing together for three years now & hasn't played Minnesota yet.

I thought well of the Bengal's defense before this season, but something isn't right there.

Even though we haven't had a lot of big plays on the ground we haven't been that bad.

This is week six. A lot of "new" on offense. Expect to get better & better each week. Expect to look like crap against the better defenses.

if our defense shows up & do their job, we will always have a chance to win.

What the heck is going on with the Cardinals? That does not look like a Carson Palmer led Bruce Arians offense.
