This week we start with Jets @ Bill's. The loveable Fitzmagic vs the Ryan brothers.

Started off kinda weird. Fitz dropping bombs on this new kid. But he's also dripped the ball on the field a couple of times already, then that weird option... eh.

Tyrod Taylor's first pass goes for 80 yards & a TD all over Revis Island.

Should be Toast Island. Dude is getting beat like a drum. And he got beat by a Track guy. Goodwin took it to him.

Edit: I'm at work and watching it on my phone on the Twitter stream. Not bad. About every 10 minutes or so it fades in and out, but that may just be my location at work.

The refs are letting Ej Manuel get away with a lot of motion on that hard count. He's dropping his head & flexing his ķnees. Should be a false start

Fitz is balling tonight, great ball-placement passing He look as good as anytime I see him. Always like him especially when he was a Texans even when the rest of yall were moaning for someone with a higher ceiling. If both the Marshall, Decker and Forte stays healthy he could have a 4000+ passing season and maybe a probowl.

Worst part about Thursday night games ... I forget about them. This game had enough characters that I would've watched, but it had completely slipped my mind until seeing this post just now.

Rob & Rex Ryan need to go somewhere..both are terrible at thier jobs.
Sports talking heads are saying the same thing. After just two games they're saying he's on the hot seat.
I, personally, hope Rex keeps his job. If he gets fired he'll probably end up on TV somewhere and I shudder to think of that.

Though it is the shortest season of any pro sport, the NFL season is indeed a journey. We saw the starting point for 32 teams last week. We also saw the Jets take a huge September forward in just one week & the Bills first scapegoat.

What's in store for the rest of week 2?

San Francisco @ Carolina
Carolina is the heavy favorite. 49ers look to still be dealing with internal issues, roster issues, identity issues... but Carolina's defense did give up 21 points to a very similar offense with a very young QB.
Baltimore @ Cleveland
The RG3 rebuild has been put on hold. A new QB is practically a new team as their game planning will surely change. I MO this is the strongest division in the NFL. Any of three teams can win the division. One of the remaining two will make the playoffs. Cleveland would like to get in one some of that.

Tennessee @ Detroit
Things are changing in the motor city. Probably passed off about all this "Vikings to the Super Bowl" talk. I'm not a Jim Caldwell fan, but something is happening up there. Tennessee, looks like they were building a tough physical team. Smash mouth offense, stone wall defense... still don't know how to win.

Miami @ New England
I'm expecting a surprising upset... not really. I just hate the Patriots. New QB & all. I know a lot of people are interested in Garoppolo'so development. Miami is trying to take the next step. It's going to be interesting.

New Orleans @ New York Giants
Two teams trying to rebound after years of missing the play offs. New York has a new coaching staff, Drew Brees has a new contract & a few new weapons. I'm thinking shoot out.

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh
The rumble in the jungle. Well, that would make more sense if the game was in Cincinnati. Still, there's going to be a fight, someone's going to be ejected, someone is going to lose. With two division games being played today, the AFCNorth is going to look very different come 3 o'clock.

Dallas @ Washington
"You like Dak? " well, I'm definitely interested. Dak Prescott is looking like the next "thing" in Dallas. Some even believe the Romo era is over in Big D. Washington also put the franchise tag on Kirk Cousins basically asking hIm to prove he is a starting QB in this league. A win here would go a long way towards proving that. Not because the Cowboys are all that, but because it's a division game & it's hard to get to the playoffs starting 0-2
Tampa Bay @ Arizona
Jamies Winston is coming into his own. Carson Palmer is trying to add a ring to his accolades. Defense is supposed to be a strength of this team. The Bucs are going to test that.
Seattle @ Los Angeles
Seattle didn't look all that great last week. The Rams even worse. Goff will be on deck, will he take over his destiny today?
Indy @ Denver
Luck is 3-1 against the Broncos. Trevor Siemian never lost to the Colts.
Atlanta @ Oakland
Julio... Amare... should be a shoot out.
Jacksonville @ San Diego
No pass rush, Bortles is going to look like a God. Can the Chargers keep up?
Green Bay @ Minnesota
Who's the starting QB for the Vikings? Does it matter?
Philly @ Chi Town
Some folks are interested in Wentz. I just want to see the Bears to gauge what last week really meant.

Of course if we win, it keeps us I the lead for the AFCSouth. A loss & a win by Jacksonville, Indianapolis, or Tennessee sets us all back to even.

Arian Foster has been dealing with a hamstring strain all week. Early in the game today, Foster was ruled out with a significant groin strain. With Foster's extensive injury/surgery history, at this point in his career, as I've pointed out in the past, he canbe expected to suffer one compensatory injury after another.

Crap. Dolts just tied the Broncos.
Come on Kubiak, we need your boys to put them guys in an 0-2 hole.

Blake Bortles was great today! Threw for 329 yds and 2 touchdowns. We are going to have to watch out for those Jaguars. Bortles is a great QB and their defense is filled with future studs. Oh wait, I missed the score, they were crushed 38-14 and Bortles got some stats in garbage time. Same as usual, nothing to see here, carry on.

As long as the game is close, we don't need to worry about Blake Bortles. AaMoF, as long as we get pressure on him, he folds. Go check his stats when he plays the Texans. It ain't pretty.

That was tongue in cheek sarcasm. Jags defense and Bortles had been getting alot of love from many talking heads. I just think they still suck until proven otherwise, as shown today.

I get the impression that the Vikings are about to be destroyed. I'm not sure Bradford will finish the game.

Vikings D looks up to the challenge. If the offense can buy them some time to rest, they may be able to hold out.

Which one of the Vikes pissed off the football deities?
First Teddy, now AP.

Are there ghosts in the MetroDome that don't like the new digs?

Good thing this guy doesn't watch a ton of football or anything.

What happened to the Packers? That's one UGLY zone defense, and Rodgers holds onto the ball way too long.

Bortles threw the ball 45 times today. Jamies threw it 50

This is ridiculous these coaches aren't doing these guys any favors.

The Jags were down 35-0 at one time in the game. I think you kind of have to throw at that point, probably long before it.

I understand how it works.

I'm just saying they're not doing those QBs any favors. Coaches need to put in OT to get their defense & run games working so these young'ns aren't throwing their arms out in losses. Probably getting the crap beat out of them too.

Wentz definitely looks like he belongs. Easily a prospect worthy of a #1 overall.

I was wrong.

Not really. Shouldn't be a surprise that any RB gets hurt, especially AP who has so many miles on him.
