Unfortunately there was a lot of Texans getting air time. Richie Cognito vs Jj Watt, Travis Kelce, Jarvis Landry, & Sammy Watkins running amok through our defense.

I stopped paying attention to this sham of a list when they ranked PManning in the top 100 for the year he didn't play. It's supposed to be a list of the top players for a given year, not an all-time list. Lists are always silly anyway, but at least the semi-sane ones you can have a little fun debating this or that. The top 100 thing jumped the shark, IMO.

The list is for what other players think any player will be worth in the upcoming season based on past performance and upcoming ability. For Peyton going into 2012 about half of players surveyed thought he'd still be terrific, about half thought he wouldn't cut it ... so 50th. Sounds about right given all the information at the time.

I have always enjoyed this show for what it is, but at the end of the day I realize that it is all picked by a bunch of mostly dumb jocks so I don't have high expectations for it.
