This is our sixth-annual backward mock draft. It's what it sounds like: What would the 2014 NFL Draft look like if the order were reversed? Whom would the Seahawks take with the first pick? My annual Backward NFL Mock Draft is listed below.

  1. Seattle Seahawks: Jadeveon Clowney , DE , South Carolina
    We're still not sure whom the Texans will pick at No. 1 - they themselves are still deciding between Jadeveon Clowney and Blake Bortles - but any team that didn't need a quarterback would automatically make Clowney its first-overall selection. Seattle actually has a need for a pass-rusher in the wake of losing Chris Clemons, so this is even more of a no-brainer.

    If the Texans pass on Blake Bortles and select Jadeveon Clowney, which Charlie has happening in his mock, they would probably target Jimmy Garoppolo in Round 2. Well, they still get Garoppolo - but with no Clowney. I guess it makes sense for the worst teams to be picking first.

Love it how they speak so definitively about what the Texans are deciding on.

People are so full of crap this time of year.
 
would think Broncos take some more protection for Manning with Greg Robinson, they already have Von Miller, even if Clady comes back to LT still huge upgrade @ other tackle plus depth.

could be wrong but 49er's are one team who might just take Evans over Watkins?

Imagine Denver with mike Evans or Sammy Watkins. Yikes.

Mack would be a great pick for them though.
