Practice Squad
The truth is we need more than one first round pick. We need D'Brickashaw and we need Reggie Bush but we also need our second round because it will probably give us a chance to get Trueblood or one of the other LT's in this draft. So with that in mind here's an idea with some guessing involved.

1st overall - Trade to Cleveland for their 1st this (3rd overall) and next year.

Trade with 49ers (2nd overall) for our 1st next year and second this.

2nd overall - Take Bush.

3rd overall - Take D'Brickashaw.

Trade next years other 1st and a 3rd form this year for a mid round 1st this year and take McNeill or Scott.

Use all remaining picks on defence mainly LB's and CB's.

yea. The best way to get into the first again would be to pick up a late first to get a good pass rusher. Bush is not a necessity(sp?), but the oline and passrush suck. The Texans should trade down to 3, and get their first and 2nd, maybe a 3rd too. But then you trade with a upper team, and trade 1 second, and 2thirds to get in the late first. Maybe.
 
Madden video games has inspired another funky trade...and Im not even sure Madden would approve this in the game.

So that would mean SF would take Leinart? Didn't they draft a QB #1 overall in the '05 draft? Do you see the conflict here?
