1st Pick in all 7rds + 2nd Pick in 3rd!

Is the title accurate or will NO rotate with other 3-13 teams? If so then what position will that extra 3rd rounder get us?

Having the first pick in each round is a huge bonus, especially in the 1st 4 rounds. Having 1st pick in 4th is also great trade bait for 2nd day of the draft.

At least draft prep will be fun.

nothing in life is guaranteed friend....Casserly WILL pass up who the fans want at any given time...cough...derrick johnson....cough.... So dont think because bush is there, and you want him, that cass will do it.

You guys think Bobby Carpenter will last till pick 33? He's a good player and would be a good pick at that point.

Casserly gambled with the DJ pick this past year. He thought he could get either DJ or Thomas Davis by trading down from 13 to 16 and get an extra pick too. He was wrong and we got Travis Johnson.

There is no possible way that he or any other GM will pass up on Bush because there will be riots in the streets if they do.

The Derrick pick was not at the top. It is hard to miss seeing the right guy at that spot. Cough ....Bush.....Bush....Bush.

or you could look at it another way......no gm is going to want so much scrutiny on his team...reggie bush is going to be watched like no player starting off since lebron.....do you really wanna be the team that had the biggest bust in nfl history? I would gladly trade and let him sink or swim with another team. Get DBrick, revamp the trenches, call it a day.

I think our team has been in obscurity long enough. I watch football for entertainment and that spotlight is where I would like to see us.

Possibly his late season injury will drop his value a bit...he's a game time decision for OSU & Notre Dame.

That's a coup...in the 3rd. Glad we get some good news out of losing Derrick Johnson.

We had better make one hell of a pick up with the 66th pick to make up for Derrick Johnson.

Casserly doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would be afraid to pick someone because he is worried that he might end up being a bust. And with regards to Bush, I don't think that he would be scrutinized by taking him because almost all scouts are saying that Reggie is the real deal. This isn't a Ryan Leaf/Peyton Manning situation where some are saying that Peyton will be better and others are saying Ryan will be better. This is a John Elway situation where he is head and shoulders and waist and knees and ankles above the rest of the prospects in the draft.

Actually, at this point, he would probably catch more flack for NOT taking Bush than for taking him.

Do you want to be known as the team that passed on great talent only to pick up a couple of extra picks and pick up a couple of so so players. It is already almost a done deal we are getting bush.

i have no problem being the team that passes on reggie bush. Houston was the team that passed on michael jordan for hakeem, and that worked out with a couple of rings for us. Its not a done deal. Your optimism is amusing, but i would wager any amount of money that we dont take reggie.

That is not a very good comparision, there isn't a Hakeem in this draft and on that same note it is more like what another poster said, "you don't pass on jordan just because you have clyde drexler and then take a chance on a sam bowie". With me saying were going to draft bush it isn't optimism, there have already been speculation that the texans are and were going to take him if they had the chance. If your willing to wager any amount of money, well Ill take that bet any day. Its all about buisness and bush is good for buisness, mcnair knows that. I can't wait until this draft comes and goes so we can get past this issue.

Yeah, but Chicago had 3 times as many rings as Houston did. But just curious, why do you think Bush will be a bust? What have you seen that makes you think that?

can you prove that jordan would have gotten any rings in houston? football is a team sport, one player is not the difference between a dynasty and 2-14. He isnt going to revolutionize the game. I just dont think he has a skill set that will translate well to the nfl.
