Simple question. Based on the forecast of who might be there, who would you draft in the 1st 3 rds for the texans? I think the draft the guys are doing is great and probably a pretty good gauge of who might be available.

1st: Leonard Floyd lb
2nd: Pharaoh Cooper wr
3rd: Jerrell Adams te
 
IMO, first 3 rounds:

1. Best OT available. Either Jack Conklin or Jason Spriggs.
2. Best DT/DE available. Should be lots of DT/DE's available, Chris Jones, Austin Johnson, Vernon Butler, maybe Robert Nkemdiche.
3. Best skill positions player available, WR, RB, TE, or Safety. Somebody good should fall to the 3rd round.

4. Again best skill position player available, hoping Tyler Higbee, or Jerrell Adams falls down here, someone with potential should be available.
5. Interior O-line depth OG/C, Graham Glasgow, Evan Boehm, Isaac Seumalo, maybe Spencer Drango.
5b. Best NT available, hopefully DJ Reader-DT
6. BPA, this can be a WR, OLB, Safety, etc...look for some quality talent that falls through the cracks for unknown reasons.
 
If we don't go WR on the first, then I'm ok with going "Best Player Avaliable" at offensive tackle. We should definitely go WR in the second round, IMO. If it goes this way, I'd be on spending all remaining picks on defense and offensive line.

For some odd reason, the coaching staff doesn't see Tight End as a need, so I'm expecting only one skilled position (WR) acquisition since we already got our QB and RB through FA, and our coaching staff seems content with what we got at TE.

I don't get this. I haven't seen anything. What have you seen that says our coaching staff doesn't see TE as a need or they are content with what we have?

My bad, I'm just going off what McFatass has been saying in his chats. I should know better than to believe his b.s. I forget he doesn't really have any inside info. He has pretty much repeated this in every chat, saying that the coaching staff is happy with Griffin because he can catch, and Fiedorowicz can block.

Agree with only one of your position predictions for the first 3 picks. I believe it will be OT, Dline, & WR, and don't think there's any real chance LB will among the first 3 but TE is possible.

I would go with Docson, Austin Johnson and Nick Martin

those 3? lordie I hope not. We should be able to get a WR, DT/NT, LT and another choice in top four picks. Example: 1. DT/DE/NT Clark or Butler 2. TE Hunter or DE Nassib or slot WR Shepherd or RB Kenneth Dixon or DT Carl Jones 3. LT Murphy or Beavers 4. WR Charone Peake or DE/DT/NT Hassan Ridgeway

*note DJ Reader in 5th can play DT and NT.
