13... An interesting number.

David Carr has been sacked 13 times this season.
I think 2 of those sacks were because he ran out of bouncs and another couple were when he broke a very well-formed pocket.

::shakes head::
Now THATS something to think about. :crying:

Does the clown know that he can throw the ball away instead of running out of bounds 2-yds behind the LOS? Just curious.

stevo i coundt agree more. I mean every1 knew from day 1 our offensive lined sucked so during the draft it would have made sense to get him but we didnt.

Good thing we replaced Wand to fix up that line. So many people knew we just needed to replace the left tackle.

More sacks. Worse rushing to the left side then last year.

I think that goes into the category "change for the sake of change".

The most interesting thing about it is over half are because of Carr not knowing what to do he's clueless.

1. He Never throws the ball out of bounds to avoid a sack.
2. He can't look down field in time because of his slow reads.
3. He locks on to one receiver and never checks off.

But he broke away from the rush for some big scrambles on the TD drive. That's a wash. Bottom line is that the coaches haven't come up with protection schemes that can't be beaten. And it looks even worse when your defense can't find a way to get near the opposition QB. Same old, same old.
