i don't get too excited by these strength of schedule things.

1-Every team in the NFL is a player or two away from being not very good in a hurry.
(seriously what if Manning gets hurt for the Colts)

2- Experts always tell us how much parity there is in the NFL, but then attempt to sell me on how say the cowboys are going to have an easy road to the playoffs because of a weal schedule.
-Can't have it both ways.

What makes the Texans fourth hardest? Is this new one harder than the number the Texans had last year?

Strength of schedule is determined based on the average of each opponents' winning percentage last year. I believe last year based on the 2002 records the Texans had the 7th hardest schedule and ended based on the 2003 records with the hardest schedule for last year.

Going into last season the Cowboys supposedly had one of the hardest schedules in the league. By the time the season was over, it turned out to be one of the easiest in the league.

I will think the NFL East (this year) will be a little tougher than what is projected now. I think Gibbs will turn that ship around and the giants? Coughlin might get them a little more competitive but will be tough with a rookie QB

.As for us.. we will be in a dogfight also... I think we (and the jags) are closing the gap between us and the Titans.. But never count out McNair... unless he gets hurt (which I hope not)... Indy is still the team to catch, but I hope a close race (with us wining of course :D)
