2007 NFL Draft Day One Thread

Bud Adams seems to be stocking up on UT guys. Very surprised they didn't get some help for VY, but with the WR crop so deep they're probably going to address that in the second round.

Not that I care what that team does, but this one comes as a real surprise to me.
 
I guess Bud Adams is trying to steal the Austin market for good. Griffin beat out nelson as the #2 safety taken, thats strange, but Vince cant throw the ball to Griffin, so he's not getting any more help here.
 
Anyone else get the feeling that teams love the depth in the draft at WR so they aren't willing to take one yet. I see the Boys taking Meachem but right now guys are holding off.
 
Giants should be looking at Staley or Ross.

Back to Quinn; if Jax didn't want him at #17 do they still not want him at #21?

Good Lord he could wind up in Dallas.

If Jax still gets Nelson/Quinn/any of the LBs, they made a hell of a trade down.

Jacksonville gets tougher. I love Nelson. I wanted him here badly!!!

Looks like Dallas will trade back or take Meachem...IMO
 
That is a good deal for the Jags. Moving down, pick up a couple of picks and still get a guy I thought they would take where they were and would of been good value at that spot.
 
It's getting very unpredictable.

Dallas has to at least be thinking about Quinn and at this point teams that thought they had no shot might be calling Jerry Jones right now looking to trade up.

Specnatz, if Chicago could pull it off your boy would be in great shape.

I am a huge Texans fan but I used to live in Indiana and grew up a Bears fan. So yeas I would probably need to go shower if that happens.

Quinn is the pick for the Browns.

Highway robbery for the 'Boys.
 
they got a franchise LT and QB in the same draft. I say the Browns have done an excellent job so far, as have the jags for ripping off Denver for 4 spots (and STILL geting their guy)

I do not think so, Cleveland has the LT and QB for the next decade.
Remeber when trading the next years draft, it is a round lower on the value chart.
