Draft Tracker 2025

DT Hamilton all I can say being more OL here mom worked at Rutgers NJ as a kid and wnet to all the games. Yes were Scarlet Knights fans for several years. Hope it works out tho

But he's going to Cleveland, dumbass.
I wouldn’t doubt if Shadeur has something in his past that teams know about. I know the talent isn’t all the way there, but some of those guys picked before him were questionable. Also, Jimmy is used to bringing in guys with character issues.

Caley being a TE coach should know what we have. Maybe he sees the skills in Irv Smith, Brevin Jordan and Stover. I would not let Schultz play at TE in a game until he shows he is willing to block. Last year was awful. 2026 we must look into TE, it would unlock so much more. I suspect they like the playmaking of Brevin when healthy. The quick passing game with Kirk, new RB, and new WR's looks promising, then hit them with Nico over the top
I bet you dollars to doughnuts British Brooks makes somebody's team and plays a significant role for their team. It should be ours but I don't see him making our team.

Defensive tackle Kyonte Hamilton is among those players and his recent pro day workout upped his chances of being drafted. He benched press 225 pounds 29 times and that stands up well to the NFL Scouting Combine numbers for defensive tackles. Hamilton's 29 reps would have tied for the most of any defensive tackle at the Combine.

His 10-yard split of 1.70 would have been behind just two defensive tackles who clocked a 1.69 at the Combine. Nevertheless, a lot of mock drafts do not list Hamilton in any of the seven rounds.

"I think he's an NFL player," head coach Greg Schiano said of Hamilton at Rutgers pro day. "He's strong, he's tough, he's durable, intelligent. You two all that and he's an even better person than he is a football player. I think he is a guy who is a really good prospect, a guy who is going to play in that league. So I'm excited."

This past season, Hamilton was arguably Rutgers' best defensive player. He racked up 36 tackles and a team-high four sacks while playing out of position at times. Rutgers lost multiple defensive ends to injury, which forced the 305-pound Hamilton to play on the edge. Four of Hamilton's 13 starts came at the defensive end position.

While Hamilton remains an NFL Draft sleeper, ot everyone is overlooking his potential. Eric Galko, director of player personnel at the East West Shrine Bowl, tweeted about Hamilton after about Hamilton after Rutgers' pro day.

"He should remind scouts a bit of Khristian Boyd, last year's @ShrineBowl ➡️ Non-Combine DT who emerged as many team's favorite sleeper," Galko said in a tweet.

Boyd played at Northern Iowa and had stats similar to Hamilton. His senior season saw him collect 43 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Boyd wound up being selected in the sixth round with the 199th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.

Hamilton could be on a similar trajectory as he is emerging as one of the sleepers in the 2025 NFL Draft.

They threw vets at the OL via FA/trade market. Also drafted Ersery. They are reuniting with Rankins at DT and re-signed Edwards, one bargain bin DT from last season.

They proved they can solve DT going the bargain bin vet route last season. DeMeco will maximize DL talent, no worries there. Also can go re-sign a guy like Foley if they are really concerned about it.

Hopefully they can have similar success with the OL. But I think the OL issues they are mostly hoping for change in scheme to more quick game helping more than talent change.
Could it also be that to draft more OL at this point is putting the cart before the horse? Do they know the player fit there before they’ve seen the scheme in action? It’s taken a couple of years to find players for DeMeco’s defense.

DeMeco had a defined scheme when he got here. The only issue was acquiring all the players could not be done in one offseason. The defense is Super Bowl caliber and that took two years.

Hopefully Caley is a one and done OC because he’ll be poached for a HC job after helping the Texans win their first Super Bowl!

27 pressures, 5 TFLs 4 sacks this past season. Daniel Jeremiah had him 142 on his big board. Former state champion wrestler in high school. Played both sports in college before quitting wrestling 2021. Played in 51 games starting 31. Honorable mention all big ten 2024.
I like that when Hamilton had a chance to step up, he did. He should be hungry to learn the NFL this next season. He knows that any play, he could be next man up. Another good move by Nick!

9+ RAS would have tied for 1st among DTs in bench press (29 reps) had he been invited to combine and been top 3 in 10 yard split (1.70… first place tied at 1.69)

They have basically said the OL issues were scheme and not talent related with their moves this offseason. Quite the black mark on Slowik’s resume. If the Fins fold this year, he’s gonna be coaching at an FCS school at this rate.
Wish him the best of luck, good guys get overpromoted all the time, but I hope we’re all right that he was the problem and not the talent!

Who will they be looking at to spearhead the UDFA class? They will draft a guy getting a lot of phone calls from teams saying they will sign him to UDFA deal. This is where Nick’s constant working of the phones will come in handy.

Joe Huber OG Wisconsin will be the pick. I am speaking it into existence! Former wrestler, started playing football senior year of HS. Has played all 5 positions on OL for four different OL coaches… he’s a moldable chess piece to add to the competition.

He has short arms and small hands to play NFL OT. He could play interior, but not sure he has the strength to even play there in the NFL.l
