Texans random thought of the day

If you’ve never been to a HPL book sale you may want to check one out. They usually have old books like you’ve shown. When my son was born we built him a bookshelf with old classics from the book sales. There seems to be something about this. He loved books on animals, especially horses. Fast forward and he’s a high school biology teacher and a wrangler for an outfitter. Good God we need to get youngsters off social media and back to the basics.
Man I got addicted to my Kindle. I used to have boxes and boxes of books everywhere. I read even more now. I read almost 300 books last year.

OB being interviewed about his career.

Interesting notes about his time in Houston:

Regrets taking in GM duties
Seems like he doesnt want to mention easterby by name
Regrets trying to force NE's way of doing everything on the organization

Theres other crap in there too that we knew at the time while it was all happening.
LMAO. That was the funniest thing. He called Easterby, "another guy". Here is the shorter version:

Jets WR Randall Cobb recently on with Bussin’ With The Boys-was asked about his time with the Houston Texans:

"My first red flag should've been when they traded D-Hop (DeAndre Hopkins).. They traded D-Hop while we were finishing up our negotiations, & I'm like.. Wait a minute.. Why would they do that? It just didn't make sense at the time.."

He was paid well by OB during his time here. He also made a comment comparing getting traded from the Texans like getting out of prison when Rodgers summoned him back to the Packers.

He knew what he was doing and he knew what he was getting into when he signed that big contract to play for GM OB.

I thought space city moved to south padre island?

You know you ain’t wrong on that, I just did that drive to watch the 4th launch . Took my daughter and watched it from a boat ( star fleet tours ). I highly recommend if this is not on your bucket list then add it immediately.

At the time? How about never? They will study this 10,000 years from now while zooming around the galaxy in their mobile spaceship classroom.

If I had to choose, it would probably be three as I do not like an open-air stadium in four. However I would like to see the skyline of Houston above three.
Speaking of Houston’s skyline….there is a REAL view of Houston’s skyline I’ve never seen in print and I don’t know why. It’s been awhile but I was always amazed at the panoply of Houston’s complete skyline as seen from that cool span bridge over the Houston ship channel. It’s a high bridge and you can see not just downtown buildings but also those of uptown Galleria, the medical center, those along Memorial Drive and even on I-10 west all in one view. It puts an entirely different perspective on the entire city that is never shown. If anyone hasn’t taken in that view I highly recommend it.

Nick hit it out of the park with Nico. And Stroud is the perfect QB to unlock all of his potential.

The sky is the limit with Nico. Big guy who knows how to use his size, good route runner/hands, just A+ traits. And more importantly, you can tell by his attention to detail route running that he is a student of the game. Hard work + talent. Love it!

Awesome, thanks. But it still doesn’t capture the bridge single look at all the building elements in a fixed view. Somebody could make some $$ if they would capture and print that view. Also from that view, as I remember, there is a beautiful clean view of a ruler straight avenue leading from the ship channel to the heart of downtown. Pretty sure that is Navigation Ave which plays a huge roll in Houston history. Caveat: Austin is currently building what is going to be the tallest tower in Texas.

Are some posters still complaining about giving up an extra draft pick to trade up to pick him?
