Week 18 - Texans vs Colts: The Holding #1 pick all season until the end Bowl?

Another season with Mills isn't the worst thing that could happen. This team has so many holes, that just a better qb isn't going to have much impact. I'm ok with adding some offensive weapons and building up the defense before addressing the qb issue. I'm not huge on either Young or Stroud, and who knows....Mills could be better with some talent injected around him and better coaching.
This is why you bring in a vet.

Yes if he doesn't get killed by 6'4" edge rushers.

But he has amazing anticipation and accuracy. He progresses through reads well and spreads the ball around.

Is there an NFL QB, current or previous, that his relative size and skill set mirrors that I may be able to relate him to?

I was watching CJ Stroud at 6am this morning. Watched Bryce Young earlier in the evening. They are very close in talent. Stroud seems to be more cerebral and smooth. Young is small, but .... very competitive, movement is quick .... may force it at times. After all is said and done, I don't know that their value isn't too close to call !

I hope we do take Stroud if he’s available. At this point I wouldn’t mind Young either. I just don’t want to see Mills for another season.

Yeah, we got Mario instead. Both of them should be a reminder that the number 1 pick doesn't always translate to good things.
Our first number one pick ever should be a reminder for all time of the dangers of this team taking a #1 over all QB and putting all your fandom eggs in that basket.
