Pep was a horrible choice as OC. He gravy trained off of Andrew Luck as his QB when he was OC at Stanford and again at Indy. I am sure his impact on the development of Luck was minimal at best. He doesn’t know how to help an inexperienced QB improve. Mills was improving last year once he took over from Taylor. Has there been any improvement this year? I don’t mind the hiring of Lovie, but you needed to bring in a young, creative OC.

Boy, Mills looks disappointing. The receivers look even more pathetic. Cooks and Dorsett both took passes short of the first down marker b/c they refused to with run the route a yard deeper or cut out of bounds to soon. Pierce is the only bright spot….and that has only happened when the OL could sustain blocks. OL has looked like shite overall.

Defense has looked good in spots but when they look bad…..it’s ugly bad.

At least at this point last season our team was beginning to show some promise and they were competitive. As of now it seems our team is losing momentum and falling apart.

How so? Are you sold on Davis Mills being our franchise Qb? How much blame do you place on coaching and lack of weapons? From my perspective Davis Mills should be in the USFL or the XFL as opposed to being in the NFL. I don't care about the excuses, there is plenty footage backing up my opinion. I was one of Davis Mills biggest supporters but I just don't think it serves any purpose to continue to start him. I don't think we have our guy on this team at the Qb position but it can't hurt to demote Davis Mills and see if things will get any better. We suck regardless but a few more wins would be nice. Hell, I would be happy just to have a team worthy of watching each week.

Agreed, but they've gotta fix the DL and add some weapons before adding a QB. The rebuild is happening and fans are just going to have to accept this. It doesn't happen overnight. Some people were saying the same things while Luhnow was building the Stros. Build a foundation 1st.
