There ya goAndre Johnson was not voted into the Hall of Fame this time around
The thumbs down was my reaction to AJ not getting into the HOF and nothing to do with your post. Your informative post deserves a thumbs up as it was how I found out AJ did not make it. It was one of those damned if do and damned if don't reactions.Thank for the unlike, Texian? Simply a post of fact, not opinion.
In that instance the sad emoji works pretty wellThe thumbs down was my reaction to AJ not getting into the HOF and nothing to do with your post. Your informative post deserves a thumbs up as it was how I found out AJ did not make it. It was one of those damned if do and damned if don't reactions.
I've only watched 2-3 of these things. It's all Texans controlled PR.Why can't the admin asst carry on a normal conversation? Why is it when you watch a Caserio presser if feels like you're watching a sci fi movie about talking robots?
watch how Cal McNair talks during this... the weird random upward inflections make him sound like an actual kid. forget football decisions, his voice sounds like which breakfast cereal to eat is a tough decision for him.

If that was a statement he truly felt……he wouldn’t need to stand up there with a written speech to convey “his” message. Cal just doesn’t come off as having his head in the game.
He is in dire need of a Dale Carnegie course or twoA lot of public speakers use cue cards to make sure they don’t go off script. Where the real danger is.
This is the guy who said “China flu” at a bad time. And remember when his dad misspoke? Ugh.
Public speaking is not in the genes.

public speaking's a little easier if your mind isn't already in the gutter. never mind that, he's a flipping billionaire. hire a diction coach, it's not hard. cal knows he's gonna be public-facing as OwNeR oF aN nFl TeAm.... act like one, at least fool me into thinking there's real leadership.A lot of public speakers use cue cards to make sure they don’t go off script. To be fair it is the China flu
No matter the decade you followed football, you can appreciate the "mean streak" Butkus played with when men were men and when players didn't wear tutus. It was known that "when he hit you, he intended to put you in the cemetery, not the hospital." This is a video that can't help but capture the attention and awe of any true football fan.
As much as I despise our owner I know how he feels. I have to occasionally speak to my team and adjoining peers and I always use cards to keep on track. I‘m usually good to go about half way through but it’s an awful feeling to begin with. I feel like I’m getting ready to go on stage in front of 150K people that are hanging on my every word. My wife says i have the BS gene but it never seems to come across at work.A lot of public speakers use cue cards to make sure they don’t go off script. Where the real danger is.

Butkus was the real deal but he represents another era of the NFL because gosh they don't even let NFL teams run the Oklahoma drill in practices anymore. No matter the decade you followed football, you can appreciate the "mean streak" Butkus played with when men were men and when players didn't wear tutus. And he wasn't much of an athlete, so even if he toned his style of play down quite a bit dunno if he could make a lot of NFL teams starting defense let alone
play at an all-pro level ?

I read a couple things 'bout this guy, and he was scheduled to participate in the SB so wonder how he did during his week in Mobile ?I think LB- Chad Muma (Wyoming) could be a 2022 (modern day) version of Dick Butkus. He’s a sideline to sideline guy who picks a punch when he hits. He could really help in the run game. On a side note, he also added 2 pick 6’s last season.

Where, which round or range do you see this guy going in Steel ?He played very well.
Kinda reminds me of Fred Warner. Good in coverage and is a take down tackler. Warner improved being more physical after a yr in a NFL S&C program. I think Muma will too, he's very talented with great movement skills.

Looks good from what I've read if he can be had in the 3rd.I think LB- Chad Muma (Wyoming) could be a 2022 (modern day) version of Dick Butkus. He’s a sideline to sideline guy who packs a punch when he hits. He could really help in the run game. On a side note, he also added 2 pick 6’s last season.
So Boselli is the 1st Texan in the HOF?
No, I believe that honor belongs to Ed Reed...
Doubt it. Neither do I consider either to be a "Texan in the HOF". But technically.... You go into NFL HOF unassociated with a team.Do either claim the Texans?
Those guys really know how to cherry pick a QUOTE.
"What gives me optimism is … I got a chance to see Davis Mills," Smith told King. "How many special quarterbacks are there out there? There’s a few. But there’s a lot of good quarterbacks. I think we will have a good quarterback for the Houston Texans. We have the third pick in the draft right now. There’s a possibility of us getting a great quarterback added to our team, or a lot of draft picks to get in more players. Something positive’s going to come out of that."

We know there are no "great" QBs in the draft. & the way he says that in the context of a trade (or a lot of draft picks)... maybe he's suggesting we'll trade for Russell Wilson, or Tom Brady will come out of retirement & play for the Texans.

It would be seem to be very improbable at this point. No one on the board believes this.
It would be a turnaround of epic proportions.Possible? Yes. Probable? Not even the slightest chance.
Dang so now the new HC can’t have any type of optimism around here either. Wow
I’m pulling for you coach Lovie to turn this team around.
Yep. The Texans suck so bad right now that just a winning record would be welcomed.![]()
How optimistic was the last HC and how'd that work out? Lovie can say whatever, and quite frankly, no one would ever talk about how bad they are, so any HC is going to be optimistic, but as I've said many times, Lovie will have little to do with turning anything around. That's all on Caserio. The talent on this team is still not very good at all, and considering they have 28 of their own players hitting free agency, they're even worse off today (Feb. 22) than they were on Jan. 9. A **** ton of work to be done and the HC, whoever it is, ain't making much difference until the roster gets some freaking talent on it. Period, end of story.Dang so now the new HC can’t have any type of optimism around here either. Wow
