Sorry Hook'em but I'm expecting the Roughnecks to destroy the Vipers. Roughnecks are either the number 1 or 2 team, depending on who you ask, and Vipers have yet to score an offense TD and are playing QB musical DURING the game. I mean seriously you switch QBs literally in between downs? Thats like pony league football where we are making sure everyone gets a chance to play.

Don't like this format but couldn't copy from website and to ornery to spend more time looking for better.

Yeah, the Vipers are as bad as their uniforms. Funny thing is they were picked by some to win it all, not sure what that was based on. It's funny when the local radio guys say "they are an expansion team, what do you expect?". EVERY team is an expansion team in the XFL. I think more people around here are more interested in the upcoming Bucs uniform change than the Vipers.

It's a crap shoot in a new league anyway. Some teams are bound to be better and have stumbled upon a good combination of players and others not so much. It's like strike time in the NFL and scab teams, who knows what you're getting? LOL

I'm just glad the Houston team has a good QB for June Jones, because Jones' schtick don't work without one.

True but when he has a QB that can make it work man is it fun to watch.

The Gamblers were awesome under June Jones. Didn't win a championship, but they sure as hell racked up a lot of yards and TDs. Having Jim Kelly as QB certainly helped. LOL

If my memory is correct.....the Gamblers also had two thousand yard RB's in the same season. Maybe I'm wrong but for some reason that's what remember.

To get familiar with the players who are you focusing on tomorrow? I'm going with wide receiver Sammie Coates. On defense I'm going with defensive end Kony Ealy.
Above roster I don't see Charles James ll. Socks! I like to see some more Butler and Williams

Coates has been pretty bad so far. A lot of drops early on.

yeah sort of like the first season with Texans.

Many of you have game day meals; any doing anything "special" for Roughnecks? I splurged 50 cents for a can of tuna with Potato chips, corn chips and chicharones. To add healthy component a banana and to counter the health food a cheese danish! Oh-- almost forgot, red tip lettuce on the wheat sandwich. I'm the man!!

Don't you wish Jones was coaching DW4 ?

As a QB coach, that might be good, not so much as your OC though. Although I doubt any HC coach would allow Jones to install a full time run-n-shoot which wouldn't work in the NFL.

yeah and more importantly, we enjoyed watching.

One of the local stations ( rarely watch so do not remember which) had a short mention of hi and former time here. Mostly focused on his socks--if that says anything about his play.

Hey Hook--did Vipers borrow Oregon Ducks unis? Way to shut them down defense! Block that pass, yeah!! 3 points only.

John McClain has hilarious story about Glanville calling him into his office when with Oilers. Has any significant NFL player worn #11? Dang good catch.

defense lookin good badboy
Just read that Roughriders viewership dropped 45% to 1.34 million week 2. That's still good but wonder how low it goes before panic set in? So far only Vipers and Wildcats with no wins. Great play by #11 and his WR! My Lord the three point after TD catch even better!!
