This is what makes it so easy to not care about this team. Is it that they’re always coming up short? Of course not! I watched the Oilers come up short for decades. It’s that they consistently come up short in the most inept and careless ways possible. I remember the Texans going into a postseason game looking prepared and not completely overwhelmed exactly one time. The year TJ Yates led them into Baltimore and Arian Foster tried to carry the team on his back. They were overmatched but not unprepared. Since that game I’ve never seen them even one time go into a postseason game completely prepared and never under Bill O’Brien.

This franchise is easy to not care about because they don’t appear to care all that much either.
