As expected, Mahomes immobility is increasing as the game goes on (especially after the most recent ankle injury) . You'll notice that he is in LONG shot gun now more often trying to avoid back and then forward motion, which is harder on the ankle.......also giving him more time to scan the field without having to move.

Dude, with more than a half of football to play you have to count on scoring opportunities arising, and so you don't want to take away points.

With two-point conversions - early in the game you consider the cost, late in the game you consider the benefit.
