What would you like Watson to do then when the defense is on him in 2 seconds? Or, the defense is on him in 2 seconds and the playcall is for him to fake the handoff to two people before he has time to scan the field?
If he throws the ball away, that's a lot of intentional grounding, because he's stuck in the pocket.
I don't know what people expect of the kid with such a swiss cheese O-line and a head coach who is almost incapable of calling quick-hit pass plays.
You're hosing the wrong kid (in his second year).

I think it has to do with trying to avoid helmet to helmet contact...been a lot of those BS type calls.
