Will Fuller WR Notre Dame- 1st round 2016

I do think concerns about his hands are legitimate though. Yes he was a monstrous performer at ND, but his speed kept him from being in contested situations alot. Which is the reason we wanted him no doubt. However he's very much a "basket catcher" meaning he uses his forearms and/or stomach to catch most of his passes.

Foley? No I don't remember that

As long as we have DHop, I'm sure this guy can make an impact on offense for us. Defenses in the NFL aren't going to give this huge holes and the CBs here aren't going to burned as easily unless there is someone else on the field drawing the majority of the defenses attention.

Looking forward to it.

To go with the 21 drops the last 2 years. If he's catching as many TDs as drops then by all means I will not complain at all! Hope he drops 50 next year!

How many targets though. Kid hauled in 70 for 1000 yds his sophomore year..hauled in 10 less receptions his jr. Yr. but for 300 more yds....double digit TDs both years. Hes a playmaker and looking at his game He's honestly just scratching the surface of his talents. Desean Jackson or a taller TY Hilton if he can put it all together.

My problem with this pick is I think he's going to be put on his ass by press man corners for the next 3 years.

I'm going to be interested to see how fuller develops as a route runner.

On HK OB told EZ he cut him because his route tree was limited and he should try to find a team that let him run go routes or some ****.

If Fuller ends up being that kind of player who is just catching bubble screens and running deep routes I will find that kind of amusing.

Hopefully our new strong arm QB will not break ribs of our new WR if he uses body to catch as he did in school.

Only watched cut ups from the USC game and saw him live against Texas (just re watched cut ups from that game too). The kid blows past DBs...questionable hands or no, he hauls in TDS and draws PIs. *Definitely* better than Jacoby Jones (as one perpetually grumpy poster incinuated) with a high ceiling.

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen him in actual games, but there is a lot to work with.

Hes a body catcher because he's compensating for his small hands. Yeah you can't teach speed, but you also can't teach hand size. Hopkins wouldn't be who he is without those massive hands. 2 inches makes a huge difference. You can compare him to DeSean, but DeSean's hands are more than an inch bigger. You hardly see Fuller extend his arms to full length. Best hope is him outrunning defender and Brock launching it to him.

I've been wanting the Texans to add speed to their offense for yrs.

Miller/Fuller certainly does that. Nuk should have more room to roam.

Now time to work on the OL/DL in Rds 2-3.

Give me Reed/Robinson/Billings/Jones/Johnson in rd 2
Give me Benenoch in rd 3 and trade up for Glasgow in Rd.3 and I'n very happy with this draft.

There has been all the belly aching that we need a QB that can go over the top, so we got one. There has been all the belly aching that we need a WR to take the top off the defense Hopkins can tear it up underneath, so we just got one. I like the kid. He can blow by DBs, and when they sag he can take advantage of that on the underneath routes. I think we got a kid that will do exactly what we need him to do. Safeties will have keep any eye on him for sure.

Look at the catch at 1:40. Great catch, but he bobbles it right at impact.
Yah, small hands. Hope the jug machine workouts helps with this. But count me as one of those who prefers a receiver with decent hand size. Still, I'm on board with this pick,
