It's that time again, so join up early and make your picks count! Last year's winner was Showtime100, and we can't let that happen again...

It's easy to play, all you have to do is pick one team that will win its matchup each week. No spreads are used, only total points, the catch is that you can't pick the same team twice throughout the year. This league is triple elimination, which means three wrong picks and you are out.

The winner or winners - if people survive the whole season - will have bragging rights over the next year. Feel free to amend your signature and give yourself a virtual trophy if you win it all!

I am taking the Colts week 1 and I am not regretting it. Houston might also be up there in terms of "slam dunk week 1 picks" which don't actually exist.

Yeah like last yr were the Cardinals beat the Patriots. I think 90% of the world got a strike that day... :survivor:

Locked in New England this week. So naturally they are going to lose now. All part of the plan.

Looks like only one taker on Denver this week. I'm trying to save them for later too. :spin:

It had nothing to do with saving Denver for later for me. There are games I classify as "Stay away from" in Survival. Ravens-Broncos, Bengals-Bears, Saints-Falcons & Packers-49ers are a few that I've classified as such this week.

Just made my pick... I have 2 strikes now, so I have to change my strategy. Thanks a lot Minnesota
Philly and Minnesota both took me down. I still can't understand how the Browns beat the Vikings. The Vikings played so well versus us but our record is 4-5 after our 11-1 start last year....so perhaps I'll blame the Texans for making me delusional about that pick.

I think this is the week to pick them. They're at home against a Minnesota team with only 1 win. I don't see a better game remaining on their schedule.

That's the trap. I want to, but I gotta stay away from them this week. Minnesota is better than 1-6. They are going to be HUNGRY

More hungry than they were two weeks ago against the Giants on MNF or against divisional rival Green Bay on SNF where they gave up 44 points? It could be a trap game but it seems like the logical choice to me this week.

I can't find fault with your logic. That's kind of the reason I posted to begin with. I guess I'm still on the fence.

Your decision is a bit tougher than mine: You can still take Seattle, I picked them Week 3. Seattle is probably the better pick anyway, especially if your gut is saying don't take Dallas.

Carolina is also tempting.

But further thought, I won't want to take Dallas again all season if I don't take them this week.

I just need to refrain from making statements like Dallas can't lose this one :)

I almost picked the meatballs but I just knew the team with the worst helmet ever would give them enough of a scare to avoid them. I really didn't think the Jags would pull it off since they are the Jags....but I liked the NYG over Raiders better. Team Titanic tends to play down to their comp, so I'm glad I avoided them. Reverse congratulations to some of you who finally stumbled.

:)

Week 12 was tough, 9 players eliminated.......and then there were three

good luck GlassHalfFull and Lucky :thumbup

Hanging on by the skin of my teeth. 2 strikes happened fast.

Stupid Jags.

Pure dumb luck on my part, as can be evidenced by my pick 'em record.

Seems silly to wish Lucky good luck :glasshalffull:
