1st and 10 and already in FG range. Two checkdown incompletions and a give up draw play. That's gutless.

At least throw for the sticks and try to move the chains. Just giving up because we're in FG "range" is playing not to lose. That's how we lost the Indy game just last week.

And I say "range" because that doesn't apply to the Texans. We suck at FG's. If the Kicker isn't shanking them, we are missing blocks and getting them blocked. We have a better chance of scoring by throwing into the end zone 4 plays in a row.

Winning this game would do wonders for the season. Just getting to 3-6 with a 3 game home stand coming up would be nice. Had we played the second half like we did the first half last week a win would be bringing us to 4-5 and we'd be 2-0 in the division. As bad as this season has been we'd be within reach of the Clots after their crapping the bed today.

Pity.

I'll settle for winning this game if we can manage it.

There may not have been any options down the field. The way Keenum plays, I think he would've tried to hit one if it was remotely there. Then again, maybe the pass rush is getting to him a bit. He took at least one hard shot to the head 2 plays before the intentional grounding penalty. And several other hard hits during the 1st half.

I think everyone probably groaned when we went to that bull**** 3 yard pass to a guy with a defender riding his back. Both times I was asking "What in the hell was that supposed to accomplish?"

Still we'd be up 17-7 if Newton wasn't a worthless tub of ****.
 
The fat hobbit is secretly happy that the kick was blocked, because he would have missed it anyway. ;)

If we won last week and won this week, we'd only be one freakin' game behind Indy. After all this crap.

But noooooo. All those BS penalties. And all the Bullock misses. Too much to ask, I guess.

Is it too soon to deem D.J. Swearinger a superstar in this league? He has that kind of playmaking ability if he keeps his head on right. Just missed his second INT today but he was all over that route.
 
Am I the only one who gets ticked off when a RB gets wrapped up and all the O-Linemen stop and just watch 6 defenders rally to the ball carrier?
