I swear the Texans never take a chance on a guy with a checkered past. They should have claimed him.

:sarcasm:

I see the sarcasm img but just for anyone that is unaware the NFL has stated that they will not give approval to any team trying to claim Hernandez off waivers until Goodell has a chance to meet and talk with him. Which probably will never happen.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-s...rs-nfl-issues-statement-status-212733366.html

"NFL teams were advised on Thursday that no contract agreement with Hernandez would be approved by the league office until after NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell meets with the 2010 fourth-round pick out of Florida."

I've taken care of hundreds of firearms victims, and seen many die, but reading this description of Lloyd's last minutes on earth still sickens me to the bone.

During a bail hearing in Attleborough, Mass., today, Bristol County Assistant District Attorney William McCauley said there is "an overwhelming amount of evidence demonstrating" Hernandez's guilt in the death of his friend Odin Lloyd, who was killed June 17.

McCauley also described a brutal death endured by Lloyd.

"As the victim was shot, he attempted to defend himself by putting up his arm," McCauley said. "The first round struck him in the outside of his forearm, traveled through the inside of the forearm and entered his body."

Lloyd, McCauley said, "began to turn and he was shot in the back two times." After that, Hernandez and his two accomplices "shot him twice through the chest," once on each side of the chest
, McCauley said.

What's sad is he knew something was wrong ... maybe knew his life was in danger soon after he got in the car, so he texted his sister to make sure she knew who he was with. "NFL".

Kind of like a "If I'm found dead, Xxxxx Xxxxx is the person who killed me" note.

I'm wondering if some of the reported conversations in the car came from Lloyd secretly calling his sister or 911 or an answering machine and using his cellphone mic to document what was going on/about to happen. Or used an iPhone Voice Memo app?

Three men now in custody in connection to Odin Lloyd murder: Aaron #Hernandez, Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace.

-> RT @MassStatePolice MSP confirming Ernest Wallace captured in Miramar, FL. Wanted in connection to Aaron #Hernandez case.

Fox 25 in Boston reporting that Odin Lloyd murder suspect Ernest Wallace has been arrested in Miramar, Florida. #hernandez

So which one will be the first to cut a deal?

I was under the impression one of them did already which is how prosecutors knew of conversations in the car.

Someone said they thought Odin may have put his phone on record. AHern and his guys didn't destroy Odin's phone and the police retrieved it. So that may be the case.

The police were reporting actual bits of the conversation before they even arrested the other guys, right?

A-Hern was watching way too many gangsta flicks. I knew once this story broke that it was gonna get a little crazy, but geez.

Silver SUV -- not red, Schefter -- thought to be used in the double murder in 2012 was found in Aaron Hernandez's Uncle's garage and taken into police custody.

Now looking at 3 homicides, 3 attempted murders.

LOL. Hernandez broke every rules of what not to do when one wants to get away with murder...not that I know what that rules are. But freshly installing 14 security cameras in your home days before the actual premeditated murder is dumb. And not turning it off the night of the crime is even dumber. And strolling with the murder weapon in front of the camera is....hell I could go on all night about this dumb ape.

But I do give him credit for buying the bublicious gum after the crime. That gum is so flavorful it could put a smile over any gloom and guilty face. Reportedly Hernandez offered the delicious gum to the attendant when he returned the rental car. During the interview when ask if Hernandez seems nervous or agitated, the attendent said "no, he were friendly and upbeat"
Of course he was, he was chewing bubblicious!

He had his Dad's favorite saying tattooed on his left arm after his Dad died.:

"If it is to be, it is up to me"

Would make his father proud.................

Double Murder?

AHern is looking like a real life Thug....I thought that maybe he was feeling himself a bit too much and had a moment....But he's looking like this is actually his lifestyle...

I would like to see some of those tats he has up close so I can see what they are....From what little I've seen some of them look gang related...

That's what I was thinking. He may have been involved in a gang at one point based off of some of the things I have read.

Edit: just realized there was an detailed discussion about this after your post so my post is pretty dated lol. I just got back to following this case as I have been enthralled in the Zimmerman trial.

• Two weeks before Alexander Bradley said Aaron Hernandez shot him in the face, Hernandez was with Bradley when the latter was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving on Jan. 28, according to a report in Saturday's Boston Globe. When a state trooper pulled up to a black SUV stopped on the highway at 2:20 a.m. the driver took off and a high-speed chase ensued, reaching speeds of 105 mph before the trooper apprehended the vehicle. At that point, according to the police report cited in the Globe, Hernandez yelled out the front passenger side window, “Trooper, I’m Aaron Hernandez — it’s OK.” Bradley failed sobriety tests and said he had been drinking at Cure, the same nightclub where Hernandez reportedly got into a fight before the double murder in 2012.

Bradley filed a civil lawsuit against Aaron Hernandez on June 13, claiming Hernandez shot Bradley in the face on Feb. 13. According to USA Today, Bradley said that Hernandez left him to die; Bradley, who was found in an alley bleeding from his face and hand, lost his right eye in the incident and has undergone multiple surgeries.

Odin Lloyd's teammate Shaquil Wilkie, right, leaves Lloyd's funeral service at Church of the Holy Spirit in Boston, Saturday, June 29, 2013. Hundreds of relatives, friends and well-wishers wept together and hugged at the funeral for LLoyd, a semi-pro football player whose killing led to murder and weapons charges against former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez.

Pretty good broad overview of the events...

Murder of Odin Lloyd and arrest of ex-Patriot Aaron Hernandez shakes New England community

The millionaire tight end picked up the blue-collar linebacker at his inner-city home an hour before his death, allegedly orchestrating the ruthless execution less than a mile from his expansive house on a leafy street lined with manicured lawns.

“The facts as I understand them, as presented to me, is that this gentleman, either by himself or with two other individuals that he requested come to the Commonwealth, basically, in a cold-blooded fashion, killed a person because that person disrespected him,” Judge Renee Dupuis said during a bail hearing Thursday.

You know that you want no part of Hernandez when Bengals owner Mike Brown comes out today and reveals that because of all the info they researched prior to the Draft, the Bengals made the firm decision to stay far far away.

B-b-b-b-but Belichick is the best in the NFL in evaluating and manipulating the draft.

Pffffft!!! Dude's gotta be the most overrated of anyone I've ever known when it comes to the draft. The talking heads give him verbal BJs every year.

Let’s Mock People Attracted To Aaron Hernandez

When I wrote last week about all the bad jokes being made about Aaron Hernandez, I at least understood that such people weren’t attempting to extract anything redeeming about the situation.

Unfortunately, there are many misguided, if not downright reprehensible, people out there lamenting not the impact this murder case will have on their fantasy football team, but instead the incarceration of an updated version of OH AN HE SEXY.

I first came across someone noting not how terrible it is that a man is dead, or even that a promising career is likely over, but rather that hotness has been wasted when I saw this:

VF Castro @VFdoesFootball

Hernandez, you were so hot. WHY?????

5:01 PM - 26 Jun 2013

Perhaps that’s just a taste of what you can find in Miss Castro’s upcoming book, The Modern Girl’s Guide to the Gridiron. Because I guess women need gender-specific reading to understand the sports things because, like, there’s so much more than those cute tight pants and stuff.

But, hey, isolated ignorance, I thought. Later that day, though, comedian Neil Hamburger began retweeting more and more people who find murder not to be the biggest crime in all this. If you’ve ever wondered how serial killers and other prisoners can get letters from incredibly pathetic strangers promising marriage, this is how. It’s what Tommy Tomlinson wrote about regarding the beautiful women at Rae Carruth’s trial: “It reminded me again of the raw sexual power that a great athlete can have - even one charged with putting out a hit on his pregnant girlfriend.”

For being a detriment to every female who has worked so hard to break down stereotypes in the sports world, these folks deserve a public shaming. So come along as we put the microscope on some seriously misguided people whose parents have failed hard.

His tattoos are cool so let's give him a free pass.

I probably should go ahead and unfriend you on facebook?

Appears Hernandez was a charming fellow even before he played a down fo Florida...

On May 4, 2007, only months after Hernandez had enrolled at Florida, he showed up at a restaurant called The Swamp near Florida’s campus in Gainesville, Fla., a two-story bar and grill that features framed jerseys of former Florida stars.

According to the police report, here’s what took place: A waitress brought Hernandez two “alcoholic drinks.” After Hernandez finished the drinks, a restaurant employee named Michael Taphorn delivered a bill. Hernandez said he hadn’t ordered the drinks and refused to pay, at which point a “verbal altercation” began between the two men. Hernandez called a witness over to try to intervene, but a resolution couldn’t be reached. Hernandez was told to leave and escorted out by Taphorn.

After stepping outside, according to the report, Hernandez told police Taphorn “got in his face” and began yelling at him. As Taphorn turned to walk away, Hernandez punched him in the side of the head-a fact Hernandez did not dispute.

Taphorn complained of hearing loss in his ear but refused medical treatment on the scene, the report said. The next day, however, doctors discovered his right eardrum had burst, an injury he was told would take four to six weeks to heal, according to the police report.

Fortunately (for me!), I do not tend to attract or befriend the kind of morons that perpetuate this stupidity, even on the interwebs. :winky:

C'mon bimbos. Don't say it's too bad Aaron is going jail because he's sexy.

The only way these bimbos could have redeemed themselves is if they had said 'Aaron is so hot for a cold blooded gangbanging lowlife'

I mean I thought Casey anthony was ok looking....... For vapid, soulless child killer.

The surviving Boston Bomber has quite the female following.

So did John Dillinger and Ted Bundy back in the day.

Sadly, even James Holmes - the Aurora movie shooter - has idiot female fans.

They have serious mental problems:

I think state funded mandatory lobotomies are in order for these she-dolts.
