Houston Texans @ Chicago Bears. 7:20. 11/11. **Official GameDay Thread**

This is what great teams do. I had serious doubts about this game, but this has been an amazing performance by the team. This will bring the team closer and build more confidence. Fantastic win and one of the biggest wins in franchise history.

This was a great win. Playing in miserable conditions on someone else's turf. Playing a great defense and you beat them at their own game.

Much credit to Foster. We really had no offense without him. I know the defense won this one, but Foster was the only one on the offense that showed up.

A win is a Win and I'm happy with the outcome regardless of how bad the offense and special teams looked.

I always find myself amazed at how anything could be so ugly and so beautiful at the same time. This game was horrible and amazing. Loved it, wouldn't want to sit through another one like it anytime soon.

Prime time game at a tough 7-1 team.

1. Did we win?
2. Did we suffer any big injuries?

If the answer to one is "yes" and the answer to two is "no"; I don't care about anything else. There's other times to worry about how the team looked and played. But, for tonights slugfest in the mud, all that matters is getting away clean with a W.

Great job, Texans. The Kubiak Texans have not won many defensive slugfests, but they just beat a team that has made a living in these types of games.

It was raining the whole game, up against one of the best defenses in the league... lots of dropped passes and Schaub was having issues throwing the ball because of the weather. The only way we lose this game is if we turn the ball over and let their defense score. Give Kubiak some credit, he had a gameplan that produced a win.

Wade always seems happy after a win, but it seems like he was ecstatic after this one. It's gotta be a good feeling to take down one of the best teams in football in their house.

Dudes. We just beat the Bears at their own game, on the road... In the WORST conditions.

This is huge, and says A LOT about our team

Go Texans!!!!

Funny..... I guess Chicago's defense won the game for them as well.. no, wait a minute. Chicago lost, because they didn't have enough offense.

This is a team game, we've got to score more points than the other team. If our offense didn't show up, we'd have lost.... the Bears offense didn't show up, they lost.

That's a good defense, our offense beat them.

So would it be safe to say the GB game was just an egg and not the Texans getting exposed?

I think a little of both. First game without Cushing, we were very much off our normal rhythm that night. The defense was screwed up, the offense was screwed up. A lot of that was what Green Bay was doing but a lot of it was the Texans failing to execute their offense and defense.

I'm with Wade, I want to play them again. In New Orleans.

we played a team that came in havingforced 28 turnovers and a team that scores ridiculously on defense....and the weather pretty much killed any shot at going down field with any regularity...the only way we lose this game is if we turn the ball over like crazy & kubes made sure that wasnt an option by keeping the ball in foster's safe hands...anyone bashing the offensive gameplan in the second half has no clue.

Muddy uniforms. Muddy field. Chunks of grass stuck in their facemasks. That's a football game. (insert Tim Allen grunt)

yeah I agree. The 2 INTs by Schaub were because of a wet ball...

Ground and pound. Bears had 9 in the box in the second half, knowing the Texans were not going to throw, and they still won...

Last 9 quarters...no TDs given up by our D. Only 1 in the last 12.
28 points given up in those games against 3 teams that average over 23 points a game, 2 of those average over 28.
