I haven't heard any news on him. Do you think our team makes a play to re-sign him?

I'd like to see him stick around for the right price.

He was non-tendered(along with Pollard,Studdard, and Bulman). Dont think he'll be coming back.

I'm also curious about Mark Anderson.

Surprised he's still on the market since his former HC once said Diles was potentially a Pro-Bowler ?

Time to let Diles & Adibi walk. Both have regressed last season. Sharpton took Diles spot.

If this deal goes down with Aso, Diles is definitely walking.

Sharpton looked like he has some game in him. He could be a very good LB for us in a year or so.

Everything is in standby mode for the Texans until this Aso deal goes down. Getting the rookies signed has to happen next so we can get the into camp in time. Zac Diles is a solid pro and would like to see him back.

I heard that two teams were interested in him.

Can't remember what teams they were though.

Is there something wrong with me since my first response was "So?"

Several players did not have good season last year and I put most of that squarely on coaches. That should change this season. Like Butler and JJ, I am ok with him gone and better than ok with them back at right price as solid back ups.

When all is said and done there will have been over 600+ FA's this year. When signing back ups next week there will be plenty to choose from. Lots of veteran FA's that will sign for minimum just to get a check.

Not a good fit for the 3-4.

Greg Cosell has had some good things to say about him. I read somewhere that Philly was interested in him (or it might have been that Philly should be interested in him).

He will land somewhere. He was a good player for us.

I helped pack Diles' bag and put him on the Greyhound bus out of town.

Diles is primarily a backup 4-3 OLB.

In the 3-4 He does not have a true position. He is not a passrusher to slide into the 3-4 OLB role and he is not a Mike LB.

He has no real position on the 3-4.
