Wow, the NFL doesn't even follow the Texans.

I just got the NFL.Com Newsletter-Houston Texans Edition in my e-mail. I was pretty surprised to see this in the first line...

''The Texans newly installed 3-4 defense got punished by the Steelers in their second preseason game''.

For some strange reason, I was under the impression that the TExans were running the 3-4 for the last two seasons.

Maybe they got confused just because it looked like it was newly installed against the Steelers.

For more insightful commentary about the Texans you should check out Chris Carter's take on the AFC South. They have Babin listed as a DE, and he mentions that he must improve the rush of the D-Line.

    Domingo Davis
    Andrew Johnson
    Gilbert Walker
    Jonathan Willis
    Jason Barbarino

I was wondering when we acquired Domingo Davis. I sure hope he doesn't play running back because that spot is taken by Dominic Davis.

One positive: I just watched NFL Live on ESPN and when evaluating fantasy wide recievers, they picked Andre Johnson as the sleeper of the year. Sounds good to me

Double D is looking great! So hope that he can stay healthy for the whole season.
After watching last night's game, Mr. Excitement is a good name for him too.

Check out this little snippet from the latest EPSN the Magazine:

"The NFL's Newest Retro Trend Is...

The 3-4 Defense. Five teams will use the 3-4 defense as their base this season, which may not seem like a big deal until you consider this: three season ago, this scheme was practically extinct. Then the Pats won two Super Bowls in three years while occasionally using the 3-4, and the copycats went on the prowl. Now the Pats, Texans, Ravens, Chargers, and Steelers will make it their every-down scheme, while the Raiders and Jets will mix it liberally into their game plans."

How many ways could we pick apart one paragraph?
