Brady is the ultimate team guy. Ultimate "system" QB
He should get out of his own way at this late stage of his own career eventually in order to help himself. Players would like to win yes. How many are willing to change and not be stubborn enough to prolong his football career? I think he has to be and the time is now. We’ll see what happens.
So you think Rodgers is done?
McCarthy has failed to build an offense around the best off-script QB in the game. What makes anybody think he's going to do any better with our off-script QB.
I think OB is doing just fine right now, maybe they can use that vacant OC title to go out and grab some top end, proven position coaching help given NFL rules on tampering.
Depends on what he does and who the Packers hire as their next coach.
Nowhere did I post I think Rodgers is done.
When they gave Rodgers weapons they won.
We have a few weapons
So getting a coach and a G.M. who would get him some weopons then that would help him then.
I haven't watched GB this year. But what I heard on NFLN is that McCarthy is being scapegoated. They got a new GM last year & it's too early to blame him even though it's obvious there is a lack of talent around Rodgers.
It wasn't McCarthy's job to get weapons, and they replaced their incredibly out dated GM who did not believe in free agency, but instead thought all talent should be developed in house.
Are you talking about Eliot Wolfe?
I'm sure I heard that name somewhere.
old GM was Ted Thompson
new GM is Brian Gutekunst(he was actually in Houston to interview for our GM job, but the Packers called and offered him theirs the night before the interview)
Knowing this the Packers have to have a good offseason. Get new players either through the draft or free agency and then see about making a run. As far as McCarthy getting a job here I would at least look into it but I believe he’ll get a head coaching job just based on his Super Bowl successes alone and the jobs which I think will be opening up after the season ends.
He knows this or atleast should know if he's going to be posting in this thread.
He just likes stirring the pot.
Isn't that essentially the group pulling the Browns out of the long term crapper?
Thompson was the one who did not do anything in free agency, Dorsey has been much active in using a variety of methods to acquire talents from what I recalled with his past.
Aaron Rodgers to me seems like a smug dick head diva
