Now that the Packers have fired him, how would you guys feel about him calling plays here? He DID lead the Packers to a Super Bowl, which is bigger than anything “Oh Buttchin” has ever accomplished.

Would you be on board with this?

Well, that’s hard to do. I’d like someone like McVay but who could that be? I can see Cal ordering Brian Gaine to go after an OC this off-season. Unless Sean Ryan is promoted?

Not that sure that BOB will be required to get an OC, but yes McCarthy would at least interesting as Aaron R. and Watson are more similar than not as QBs. My real thought is Mccarthy is probably a head coach in the NFL next year. The Browns GM has an extensive history with the Packers and would know McCarthy quite well (not sure if that is a good or bad thing)

Question is what do you do with an off script qb who gets paid like one of the best

I doubt it. Cal is going to run this thing like his daddy did. Gaines is in charge of the scouting staff, BO'b is in charge of the coaching staff.

    They both report to Cal.

& BO'b appears to be doing things the New England way. Promote from within.

That said, I'd love it if BO'b could talk Bruce Arians onto his staff.

What's Mccarthy record minus Rodgers? No very good. People were surprised he even got the job considering he wasn't that good in SF as oc. It would be cool to have him call plays, but I'm sure there will be offers for him as a head coach.

He inherited 2 HOF QBs back to back. He did win one Super Bowl with Rogers however outside of that, one can argue that he’s underachieved considering that he’s had Aaron Rogers all of these years.

Another thing, the Texans have just won 9 straight and judging by the remaining teams on the schedule it doesn’t look like an end season collapse is going to happen. Do you guys really think that BOB is going to be fired at the end of this season? Even if they’re one and done in the playoffs I don’t see it.

Unless they totally collapse and miss the playoffs OB is back next year, and probably even so if they do collapse. Either way, he needs to get himself an OC next year.

This. But also, I thought he should have been fired end of last season, he's proved me wrong.

This is the most fun being a Texans fan has ever been. Surely it's time to stop hating?

Dirk Koetter. He’ll be gone from here (Tampa Bay) next season I’m sure. He’s lost me as a head coach but he’s a solid OC. The Texans could do a lot worse.

Rick Smith sucked at personnel decision
The Fans suck at personnel decision - that's a damn guarantee

If Gaine brings him in I am down with it. Gaine is beast and will lead us to a ring one of these days

I honestly don't think his job was ever in jeopardy.

That said, if these Texans revert to the soft bunch they've been in big games, I'd fire him. I'm hoping we've finally turned the corner & we're real now.

    Kudos to BO'b
