I think the Texans should go after Clemson’s Tony Elliot. While I’d rather they hire an experienced NFL OC, I wouldn’t mind seeing a succesful college OC have a go. Hell, I’d even settle for Jeff Scott. Anyone but O’Brien, please!

Anywho, who’s your pick for the vacant OC position?

If he were to do it (and I dont think he will) it would be inhouse...

    Sean Ryan- qb coach.

The rumor from Pancakes is the TE coach.

    In house sucks either way.

One would think if they had such a high opinion of the te coach they might use 2 rookie stud te's a bit more.

Not dispelling any rumors I know nothing about but - use the Jordan's ob. Please.

Oh it gets better. He played defense and most of his coaching has been on defense. But he's a friend of OB.

I dont see how a guy like this wouldn't conform to anything OB wants. That's why I want an outside party to be oc.

I always loved Kyle Shanahan's route combos downfield. I love watching some play designs from Andy Reid and nagy.

Our offensive design is uninspired and the timing of the calls (2 back to back wr screens) is inept.

Not only will this not happen, but I would doubt Ryan is here for the 2019 season.

We'll see. Ob may get pressure from management and if he gets to pick, he'll pick someone he pulls the strings on.

I'm gonna be pissed if it's an in house pick for OC. Apparently NOBODY there knows offense or OB is just a big egoed ass hole that won't take any input from anyone.

I hear Bill Callahan wants out of Washington. I'd like him to help the Oline and or the running game. Get on it OB!

EDIT: I'm gonna really be pissed if OB keeps the job for himself....

What?! You don’t have faith in our QB guru? Well, be prepared to be upset! O’Brien is reportedly keeping the same coaching staff intact. He has also made claims that he will “fix everything” for 2019, and going forward.” I pray that Cal forces him to hire someone to call the plays on offense cause surely he watches other teams play football. He should be able to see that his team looks nothing like the teams that have advanced to round 2 of the playoffs. (Skill-wise)

That Heck guy is OL coach in KC.

His line has done what's needed to get a running game producing and has given Mahomes time to do his thing.

He's also had a front row seat to what Reid has in his playbook also.

IDK how these things work with the coaching trees etc whether it's realistic though.

If McCarthy doesn’t get a HC job maybe OB can lure him over. Doubtful though

I think BoB is doing a fine job as the OC. The problem is we haven't gotten him what he needs to be successful at it. Like Belichick as HC and Tom Brady as QB. Really without those two things how can anybody be expected to succeed.

Seriously though I wouldn't be against Tony Elliot though why the hell would he leave Clemson. They've had several good years now and he's most likely making as much as the Texan's would offer. Only reason I can see it is because he could see working with Watson, who he knows how to win with, as a great way to build his resume for later. Hell it worked for BoB working with Brady.

After 13 years coaching the Green Bay Packers, Mike McCarthy is taking a break.

McCarthy told ESPN that he’s decided to take 2019 off from coaching. But only one year — he said he’ll be “locked and loaded and ready to go for next year.”

I saw a bag of chips at Subway that looked pretty promising. It’s was a Lays which is pretty close to McVay.
