As long as Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison are doing their thing, I'd have to give it to the Colts. They are consistent, too, and we'll have to give the Saints a couple of more years to see if they are the real deal, as well.

I assume the Bears was being facetious?

This year, it'll be the Bengals if they can stay out of jail.

Best offense in what ways? Scoring wise? That would be San Diego.

Now who has the best overall offense would be N.O.

I would have to say the Colts, with the Saints right behind them. I want to see what Joseph Addai is going to do since he's the featured RB for the Colts.

You need a lot more options on here. The Eagles, Chargers, Cowboys, Bengals, Cardinals, Seahawks, Lions, and a few other teams could make arguments.

But I think the Colts have the best offense.

Saints came a longway in a year but there has to be something said for being consistantly one of the most brutal offenses to gameplan for with the Colts.

Anthony Gonzales is perfeclty suited to the slot for thisteam and last year the emergence of Ben Utecht will make this offense even more potent this year. I think Addai also has just a little more burst then Edge so while their D has taken some hits...opposing offenses better be ready to score.I think that fact alone will put a lot of pressure on oppsoing offenses and in a way will help the defense this year.

From the looks on both sides of the ball... I like our Texans chances this year.:fans:

Indeed. I'm kinda surprised nobody has mentioned the Rams, either.

You've got to give it to the Colts, with the Saints-Chargers-Pats all falling in together at the next tier. In terms of overall team balance, factoring in O and D, I'd go Pats, then Chargers, then Colts/Saints.

I'd reverse it, with the Chargers, Bengals and Cardinals close behind.

I was waiting for that also!:texflag:

San Diego should have been a choice. I have to go with our division and say the Colts have the best offense.

Agreed. Their RB alone ran for 28 TDs, caught 3 TDs, and on top of that he threw for 2 TDs. They also have the best TE in football IMO, who has caught for over 900 yards and 9 TDs in each of his last 3 seasons. They've also got the rookie Scott Chandler from Iowa (who also went to Southlake Carroll btw) to back up Gates. Their offensive line is very good. They do have one small weakness on offense and that is at receiver. Alot of their guys are unproven. They did spend a 1st round pick on Craig Davis WR out of LSU so we will see how he turns out.

Oh yea and their young QB threw for 3400 yards last year including 22 TDs and only 9 INTs. He did fumble 8 times last year...that is something he REALLY needs to work on IMO.
