Being a realative newby to the draft obsession, I have learned several unpleasent lessons today because we didn't take DJ when he fell to us. 1. Don't blindly fall in love with a player. 2. Research more players... a lot more...and not just for name recognition. 3. BPA is probably more on par with team needs than I originally thought...I thought it was a lot more important. 4. There are only a few obvious picks per draft...much less than I originally thought. 5. Just because you know a lot, doesn't mean you know anything.
